  1. Hi Sam, Good on you for getting it working.. You will need to remove the jap Nav module to be able to see it on the screen. Unplug and remove the module, the screen will go blank.. This is normal. You will need to let the car go to sleep( turn it off fully, lock it and leave for 15 mins), turn it back on.. This will allow the video module to recognise there is no Nav unit and will take over control of the video output... It may take a couple of goes at it. But it will eventually come online... It will look completely different.., You should then see the phone option. I have seen in some jap Nav systems they won't allow the phone menu as it was never an option with certain Nav units..
  2. Thanks a pic would be good...
  3. hi, I need the gear shift boot only if you'd sell that separately... ? maybe the centre armrest if it is in good condition..? Thanks Dean 021 223 7954

  5. hi Sam, you need a seperate bluetooth antenna. If you have the option 644 eject box (bluetooth) it does not have the bluetooth antenna built in. - none of them do. - it is connected via coax wire plugged into the ULF module. if you do have that eject box, it needs to be wired different than that document states. that documents is for a situation where you don't have an eject box. you can't pair via steering wheel controls. it may help if you post a pic of the components you have.. ULF, eject box, etc - a picture speaks a thousand words (apparently)
  6. HI, any chance of dropping 1x bmw wheel to Turangi on the way? Thanks, Dean
  7. Don't use pin 39, just try and jump/short pin 32 to any ground and check. - make sure you are try to enter pairing mode correctly: Ignition off, short pin 32, turn ignition to pos 1 but continue to have pin 32 shorted, it should enter pairing mode after a few seconds.... release pin 32, pair phone!, once phone completed pairing, turn ignition off to save. you say you have a bluetooth eject box? that will need to be wired in a particular way ( not as described in document as that is only if you don't use an eject box) have you fitted a bluetooth antenna?
  8. no they won't... keep an eye on trade thou... every now and again a sports wheel comes up cheap enough..
  9. hi custom made loom for e39 & e53 pre wired or Jap imports with the Jbit phone. this will enable you to plug in a ULF or TCU module for bluetooth phone kit. (not included, but required for conversion. mic (can supply), bluetooth antenna, and ULF / TCU unit) $40
  10. hi I have 3x on these Steering wheel controls. - great easy retrofit for stereo functions / phone and cruise control. 1x Full kit $200 - includes brand new control set and wiring. 2x controls only $100 each, very good condition. (as pic) (your car needs drive by wire throttle for cruise control to work, other wise other parts needed)

FS: 2002 330i MSport, 220km very good condition, but the usual stone chips/minor battle scars etc as you would expect at this age.. well maintained, transmission serviced and functioning perfectly.. recent new tyres OEM navigation bluetooth phone & Audio streaming Hi-Fi audio system Multifunction Steering wheel Xeon lights electric seats including lumber support 2x RF remote keys + spare valet keys etc (converted from IR) I was thinking $6500, but if it seems I'm way off, let me know...! only selling as i have another MS E46.
  19. Hi, I have a 2002 facelift msport. 220km. OEM Nav, phone kit, Bluetooth auto, multifunction wheel... $6500 I was thinking.. Let me know if you are interested..
  20. I did this to mine, 2x Keys and cut, new antenna amp - $140. I did wiring myself, its pretty easy -"shouldn't" cost too much.... such a good mod for anyone who has to deal with those IR keys, its well worth it. "casakeytw" is the ebay user that sells the RF keys. they are very good. (make sure you order 433mhz )
  21. thanks Geoff, - just what I needed!
  22. Hi, - If someone has a 5speed manual box sitting in front of them... I need a couple of measurements as per picture. I need the distance from the tip of the input shaft to the straight edge (surface of bell housing) and the length of the pilot bearing section. this is for a e46 manual conversion. The pic is of the 6speed box with the shorter input shaft, but what I have is a flywheel and clutch kit for a S54. I plan to use the 6speed clutch plate with the S54 kit and make an adaptor to use the standard pilot bearing in the crank instead of the unique 6speed flywheel.. thanks for your help.
