Ive done 2x swaps now, and yes its the worst part of the whole exercise. You don't need to remove the dash. It does go under the heater box between the floor.. - yes you need to fold the carpet back, particularly on the pax side to access the hole to the underside. I found if you carefully feed the line from passengers to the drivers side, (remove the small o'ring first so you don't damage it in the process!) below the heater box, with a bit of patience and a couple of tweaks to the shape of the steel pipe, you'll get it through... - it takes a fair amount of bending the line both getting it to go through and getting the correct angles to fit into the master cylinder correctly - have a bit of a think about the bends in the line before you start so you can "restore" the bends when you get it through.. ie don't try and put a bend the opposite way it was bent before or you may collapse the pipe.. Good luck!

no rubbing.. its the best offsets /size you could use on stock suspension & without rolling /flaring guards etc. the genuine style 71s don't fill the wheel arch that particularly well and these have a nice lip look too.. Never seen another set like them.. found on trademe mis-stated sizes but I took a punt.. lucked out cause they were cheap as chips too! - sometimes you get a win.!

As above, looking for a diff for a manual conversion.. 330i input flange if possible..

This would get it going.. If you don’t Really need a CD player head unit..?

Hi Matt, you should have ordered the extension cable.. the blue and white plugs are connectors to the audio system located in the boot.

Try not doing the FA write. just code the specific values in AKMB and the MK60. I have done this mod, but from memory some early mk60’s won’t work. good luck.. I have a spare mk60 that does work if you need it..

You should only need to remove option $205 and then “process car”. This will set all modules to default and without automatic transmission. dont “process car” if you have made changes to any of the settings within any modules.. they will be lost. ( I found out the hard way!) if you have custom settings you will need to process the relevant modules only.. changing the VO can go wrong if the setting in NCS expert are not right, which may be the case with your ASC error.? otherwise you could just read the ASC Module, check the settings with “NCS for dummy’s” or “BMW Coding Tool” And change if necessary.. goodluck..

FYI. I have done an E46 manual conversion, and wired the clutch switch at the time. The revs do not hang. I used a S54 std flywheel and pressure plate with the 6speed ZF 22 spline g,box. The std M3 flywheel is the heaviest of the *54 options.., so if anything would hang it would this config! - I suspect the lack of switch will make the difference.. I’ll be interested to see the result of getting it connected.

Yes, you are correct. contact HellBMW..

attached are the files I used to flash my 330i. the change is significant. - you get the launch control, burble(only whilst not moving and reving it - poser mode), ews delete, better fuel consumption, etc etc I had a spare DME to play with.. so I can just replace the stock DME if required. but I never have! - BTW, The EWS delete still maintains the security of the key pairing- ie the car won't start without a paired key still. cheers MotorwerkeAgressive.bin MS430056_M54B30_Logger_EWSsignature_CHK5off_LC.bin

have a look at this https://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=1082287 thread from E46 fanatics (its long, but as a fair amount of useful info.. (and useless)) and, MS43 Wiki: https://www.ms4x.net/index.php?title=Siemens_MS43 all you need is a Inpa cable for loading tuned files etc..
-
Ive used tunerpro, works well and easy to use. loaded a tuned file to my 330i -works bloody well - car drives great with nice enhancements! - launch control etc! MS43 wiki site I presume?

Hi all, does anyone have a PDC trim for a Mtech bumper? Must be the Mtech version part no. 7893306 with the sensor mounts ( not the std bumper trim 7030606) Thanks

The S54 flywheel and pressure plate will fit. That flywheel in the ad you reference is stuffed. - don’t bother going there. I’ve done a 330i 6speed ZF conversion using a S54 flywheel and pressure plate with the 240mm 6speed 22 spline clutch plate. All work perfectly together. - this configuration required an adapter for the pilot bearing, but is simple and reliable. let me know if you have any questions on the conversion.. and there’s heaps of stuff online .. cheers

Could be interested.. of course depends on $$... Pm me some details if you like..

The one before the facelift..
