Ps, that coupe looks the money. Might have to look into that, with a 520 or something
-
Haha sadly not. Don't think I'll be cutting this up, well at least not for a few years. Will be doing a few mods tho, tints, carbon splitters, M5 rear bumper and exhaust and then wheels and lowerage. Also some cosmetic changes to the interior

Finally finished 99% the body work, minus the rear sail and bumpers. Hoping to finish that tomorrow.

Looks like the one that use to be parked outside my house. Quite a tasty looking 34

My first car was a Honda civic. 2nd to 9th car were BMWs. 10th car Nissan primary 11th car Toyota Supra 12th car Mazda Atenza 13th to 15th BMW again. Nephew who has just turned 18 bought his first car 2 years ago, 1987 318i and loves it. Call it personal preference if you will, but BMWs seem to offer a lot more the other makes do.

Id take the 344 as its exactly what I would do with an E30 project, incl the flares and colour. Especially with the amount of work and fabrication gone into it. I don't think its trying to hard at all, I personally think its a perfect outcome for an individuals view and taste on their own project, and its not like it was built for anyone else or their opinions as that just defeats the purpose of it all.

Mmmm, trying not to Chinese it up too much, mind you I haven't sorted the reverse light out. Wonder if it would pass wof if I went with the white LED as a reverse light?

Thought I'd start on the tail gate light. Picked the light up from a hilux and used my LED strips purchased from JayCar. Will probably land up tinting the light a little once I have the mold in the rear sail fabricated

What suspension you got in there?
-
Haha we tried that, started chipping a way at the flywheel, so decided not the best of ideas. But we still used a 6ft pipe
-
Went with a 20 minute mock up bracket that bolts to the crank. Using 5mm stainless steal, and BOOM, 30 seconds to get it out (roll on the jokes) Thanks for all the help
-
Decided to coat the covers myself. Went with 600 degree primer, sand stone grey and flat black engine paint. Waiting for the sand stone to dry, then will do a final coat or two of flat black.
