  8. Finished up the old battery well delete, took a few hours to cut the right angle and bends etc. Also did some tidy up on them messy cables, but camera died before getting a photo. I will begin getting the flooring put in place now as the adjustable springs have also been fully installed in the rear. Will be looking for some adjustable shocks to fit soon, or perhaps just get some standard ones shortened.
  9. I had the exact same issue with my e39 before I started stripping it, turned out to be that the power (+) connectors located in the white housing above the battery, were quite loose, which was killing power to the entire car.
  10. Sadly not. Is the diff the same as the 528 e39?

  12. PS, thanks. The ute is getting into the detail stuff now as the structure and panels have all been done / cut. So its taking longer then expected haha
  13. Well im keeping the auto tranny in mine, and getting the lads at Jerry Clayton to tune the gearbox ECU. They advised they can get it to .7-.9 second gear changes through the SMG wheel. Its basically wired into the manual shift change.
  14. where did you get your radiator kit from? Im looking at doing the 540 soon. PS, you should look into doing the SMG paddle shift set up on your car. Works pretty fantastic in the ute
  15. haha do it. You wont be disappointed. Im loving the full iPhone Bluetooth integration, especially through the iBus and steering wheel.
  16. As per the title, after the Bently or Haynes service manual if anyone has one. Fanks
  17. These are a great unit, I have their ZR model for my 5 Series project, mind you it didn't come with the iPod rear interface cable so im also using the front USB. Looks good in the '46...
  18. Cheers mate. That stereo is pretty damn awesome! Started on the old battery-well cover up to make way for the twin exhaust set up
  19. Cheers. Just bought 15L @ $140 later haha hope it does the trick
  20. installed the new Avin All-in-One head unit. Wired it up through the SMG steering wheel, iBus and the cars ECU system for on screen diagnostics and minor tweaks. Also got a Vodafone 3G SIM card installed for internet access and installed the latest NZ GPS maps. This also integrates into the PDC with reverse camera. Spent the last week and a bit getting the rear window and pillar frames bent and welded in, which has been approved by the cert guys (pretty happy about that). But getting the perfect cut for the window panel was a mission on its own. Deleted the rear door handles too, so will soft grind the welds back this week and start smoothening out the sides to have the factory flow from front to rear. Managed to cut out all remaining panels so I can begin to get these welded in. Have also completed all the cars wiring relocation and tailgate connections. Only error being thrown up now is the airbag light which I will get taken car of when car is put back together.
  21. Does anyone know how many Litres of coolent I need for a complete radiator bleed and flush. Owners manual says 3 gallons, which is around 11 litres with change.
  22. These were tested on a E90 323' but the guy hasn't come back to me. Not sure on the offset, will have to measure them tomorrow
