  6. Not much of an update, but finally sorted out power to the garage and began on the A pillars for the rear window. Just waiting for the sign off from the Cert guy so I can finish off the window. also started welding in the rear doors, that's such a massive task. BUUUUT in other news, just picked up the donor car for the Ute.... 1998 540i. Mechanically she is good, cosmetically, not so much but definitely worth the price I paid..
  7. Yea, but I'm keeping that sorry. However, my 540 donor car has something there, just need to pull it off to see exactly what's missing. I'll keep you posted
  8. Ah sweet. Yea its just for the SMG conversion on the ute, the pin i currently have is dropping voltage causing the light to blink and random gear shifting when in sports mode. Are you near a post office?
  9. Anyone have the above connector for the E46 SMG slip ring / clock spring. Preferrable with the wires too
  10. Sorry, steering wheel has been sold. But what parts do you have available?
  11. It sure is. 021 302 485 text me if you like
  12. Still have this lying around. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=793799310
  13. Well ive seen this in person and its banging! Obviously the X5 creates the same effect as your Bimmersport signature, but the Merc is still quite nice!
  14. Got the rear suspension test fitted today. Need to fabricate some top mounts, but fits pretty well. has another inch of drop if I want haha Im documenting a write up on How to delete the E39 SLS with adjustables, will upload once completed.
  15. Still waiting for the Lowe to be turned on in the garage, so not much progress apart from getting the old front bumper off and installing the M5 with the awesome front lip from David. Completed the adjustable rear setup which I hope to get installed tomorrow. Also picked up my awesome pipe bender to finish off fabrication for the rear window and A pillar.
  16. Is it the front lip? I can pick it up today. Im just around the corner
  17. DO you have any pics of your struts and springs for the 530?
  18. Got a few horns blows and flashing lights. Did a sly 930pm drive with my brother in his mameth 4x4 to block traffic behind
  19. my new address is near by, Ngapuhi Road haha
  20. Havent worked on the car much this month due to family holiday and shifting house etc, but on a better not...she now has her own garage. Got screwed over by a few tow companies so decided to take a chance and drive her from the old place to the new place, only 1.2km away but was a little nerve wrecking as the rear suspension only has the shocks now and no rear window. She drove pretty well other then that. Looks all snug now. Will start getting some serious wrench time in over the next few weeks
  21. I see this car every morning to and from gym, cant help but to stop and perve for a few minutes
  22. S62 running a reworked M62 auto box. The lads from Jerry Clapton say they can tune the auto box for .8-1.2 second gear changes if not more. But will need to get it rebuilt pretty solid first. Well that's the plan don't know if the S54 box will fit the s62. Thanks for that. I managed to get it out and it seems to be okay. Ran a 3v @2ohm signal through it, came out at 2.9v @2ohm - now to figure out how to install it. Wonder if a can cut it to fit
