I dont know a single person in Hastings that likes those cycle lanes... worst idea ever.

Some expensive mistakes in there. Awesome cars though.

Whoa that is crazy cool.

Nice find Greg, Ill be keen to check it out if/once you get it You'd be suprised how well it mite come up with a good wash and polish. That old paint can be pretty tuff stuff. Alot more forgiving than modern paints

Found this on StumbleUpon, some awesome exotic vehicles. A couple of Bimmers in there too. Link

Top Gear link some sweet driving skills through some narrow cutouts in concrete walls.

Front air dam looks good so far. Nice and Tuff. Is it just me or does the front kinda have a hint of an e46 CSL styling to it??

The old notchback Celica in the background brings back memories. I used to own one the same colour and all. Anyway back on topic... 71kw, is this much more than a standard m20B20??

WOW, dont really think they need to bother with the psychiatrist, anyone who tries to set themselves on fire doesnt need an assessment!!

Heard this on the news at lunchtime today, going to be an enquiry etc, etc. PS: that link's quite possibly the shortest news story in history.

Dont tease me Si, Id be keeping it quiet, and not starting this thread if I had the cash. Thought these were rare as in NZ. Wouldve thought $760 was a pretty good price for the other set. Where did you pick your set up from?

I am about to replace the shocks n springs on my 1990 e34 535 and want a bit of advice on brands/setups for my car. It will be prodominantly used as a road car, but will be using it on the odd track day too so want something with good handling characteristics and a reasonable ride quality, above just all out performance on the track. I dont see the point in a Coil over kit for it atm, but want a good quality setup. Ive looked at the H&R spring listings but only appears to lower the front 1.3" and the rear 0.75". Not sure this would quite be enough for me. Maybe coil overs could be similar costs to a decent quality spring and shock package? Where would I be spending my money wisely and where would I be throwing it away I guess. Will no doubt end up re-bushing alot of worn susp. parts along the way. Basically Im keen to know what people have in their E34s, experiences of what brands are good or not, maybe even a pic of your car with the setup to show ride height etc. Cheers Guys.

Your paint looks MINT in those pics Jeev!

Cheers Si, Its been long overdue... Brent, Thats pic isnt my car, but the basic style/look I wanna achieve at the end. Its actually a car I purchased from you quite a while ago, Im sure youll remember it when I post some pics of it later. Was the 525 body you transplanted all the 535is running gear into.

Thought it was about time i got a project thread started for my E34. Had a few beers with Greg last weekend and now have new-found motivation to get cracking on my E34. I brought it over 18 months ago but havent done much to it yet, its been sitting and hardly getting used as Ive got a Company car as my Daily driver. Basic run down; Its a Diamondshwartz e34, M30B35, has all the good bits already like Manual gearbox and LSD , but is in need of a fair bit of work. Im aiming to have it sorted in time for the next Taupo track meet next year. Already underway sorting an upgrade to 540i front brakes, needs suspension repairs and upgrades to make it suitable/safe for the track (and the road). Will add some pics soon. Heres my inspiration for what Id like the finished product to look like (minus the rear wing)
