I test drove that car a few years back. Was a nice drive, clutch take up point was off in it and it was getting up in the milage.

No. Nothing wrong with my Renault, it gets fixed buy Renault. It was the E30 has tipped me over the edge, if I hear someone in the trade tell me “that’s what you get with Euros†or Typical BMtroubleyou†is it that that your average kiwi is confused by new 30 year old German Engineering? Muppets. Complete muppets.

It shouldnt be a tall order though. I just need to find a good place, don’t mind paying $100 an hour if need be, im sure we could all benefit from it because from my experience most are borderline retards. Is there an industry standard or a qualification needed to be an Auto Electrician?? If I could spell and punctuate and had more than I shared brain cell I would write a book. Honestly. The sh*t I have been through over the years.
-
I need to find a professionally trained, enthusiastic Auto Electrician, someone who is honest and someone who is not afraid of modern European vehicles or BMW’s. Prefer South Auckland but will go a bit further if need be. Would love to hear your experience with the company, especially if they managed to carry out work that was a tad more challenging enthusiastically.

Let them settle in, as said if they are still uneven try swapping them around, if that fails fit a new 10m spring pad on the low side to even things out. Well that’s what I did and it worked. Failing that plug it in and diagnostic it.

Good to hear men, there were way to many VW products and bi-products there for my liking, let even it out a bit next time eh. -

Lol. Go general mini lee. As much as you crash captain crashy crash you sure could pedal an E30, you were setting times a modern day M3 driver would be proud of. Sad to see a fallen E30. -

Some very nice pictures thanks to Rabit and his very nice camera. This is only a few photos’ that were taken but you get the idea of what Eurosport is about, we had 30 odd cars and all had a fantastic day. Some BMW’s near the end to keep you fanboys happy. My favourite is the Chevette, it is seriously a machine and a half and was as quick and quicker than anything (road car) there. http://s918.photobucket.com/albums/ad23/NZ...ampton%20Downs/ -
looks like a good height. Where did you get em?
-
Do you have any pictures of your car with them in Paul?? Cheers.
-
You just confused me then I confused myself thinking about how I confused you. Cheers for the offer.

And by driving hard I don’t mean Viagra hard… I mean a spirited blast on a bumpy backroad or a trackday.
-
I like driving hard and as it sits I can’t do that, it bottoms out and rubs on the guards and is embarrassing. Compressing the spring looks to have untentioned the spring rate, what I was looking for was a mild drop. I am looking at E30 Series king springs as an alternative to H&R or Eibach that are not available in NZ for months.
-
bang on the bump stops though unfortunately, and it rubs the guards too…im too old for those two compromises.
-
Lol I just got a reply to a PM I sent good knows when, it sounded like the recipient was confused also. Stink au.
-
You little ripper! Will PM you. Any idea on the series springs guys?? an optimum stance would be -20mm front and if the series springs are stiff that would be a real bonus.
-
This is a showroom, question and WTB thread so I put it in general discussion for lots of exposure BFH style. Please move if it’s in the wrong place. Sorry. Need a pair of M325i front springs please. Offering $100 for the pair must be M325i springs. If you try and sell me otherwise you will have them returned in an uncomfortable manor. Failing that I can get some, would anyone with the wisdom be able to tell me if the E30 Series King Springs will fit my car?? Also, are they a lowering spring and how low do they go.. Reason I need them when I already have a M325i you ask? …After failing to source some H&R’s and unable to get anything that will only lower the car only 20mm I sent mine to Archers springs to have 20mm taken out of them, big mistake, they are now like a slinky, apparently they don’t have a ruler and 20mm means 70mm, they have lost all rate and its driving like a complete piece of sh*t. Just raking the garage with its rakeness… Any help appreciated as I would really like to get them in and take if for a decent drive, have had it a month now and it hasn’t been on an outing.

Post bigger pictures please, that didn’t quite fill my 27†monitor.
-
Conifer Grove eh. Nice car, is that leather individual optioned?? Good luck with the sale, would love a test drive

I don’t know Asemill nor Bruce. I was wondering why we “wouldn’t find a better example†than a car that has done 240,000km, I can’t tell much from a few photo’s and assumed you must have driven or seen it to make that comment. Is there a thread on it here?? Might have to go and have a look myself.
