Don’t know who Dave is but I like this shot from his Album! That video posted was very nice, thoroughly enjoyed watching the 325i drift its way around.

Would defiantly take the M3.. heaps better Time Attack Black Red needs to be done, will look sick.

Haha, I put the D symbol on my genuine NZ Euro plates.. that’ll f**k em Oh and camera’s pick em up just fine, ask my lead footed missus, she has a couple of nice speed camera photo’s to prove it. Yep, got a set from Germany and they were 110 landed, the cost of a NZ euro plate will go up to $500 in April.. I’ll take the fine and the opportunity to go ape sh*t at a community service provider whom I pay. Its harassment, the cop has an option and can use initiative to think hey, maybe that 25 year old businessmen in a nice car isn’t part of the mongrel mob and might just be a car enthusiast that maintains his car to a high standard and drives to the law. f**kers.

I disagree, there is no logic in that, the paint is already damaged… Clay wont do bugger all, have you tried it on faded paint before, it simply sticks to the matt like fade you need to go at it all aggressive, I have even resorted to metal polish to remove the faded cloud Clay is good but its no miracle worker.

Im pissed off, I thought id save a few bob and do my brakes myself yesterday…had I taken it to Glenn it would have been finished by 4.00pm and I could have joined you for a beer…instead I was stuck in my garage until 8.00pm re installing brake booster and bleeding the system. Ya miserable old bugger

Im not poo pooing your business Glenn, im simply pointing out what others maybe haven’t considered. My answer was pertaining to new BMW’s, the fellow that asked the question drives an 07 335i, BMW’s technicians are trained up on these new vehicles and service/maintain and check them every week and are able to efficiently work on them. I have never owned a new BMW but have family that have, just going off their experience witch has been very pleasant with BMW.
-
I have never had anything looked at for free by any mechanic you must have a nice way of asking. Regarding late model BMW’s, how many of these independent guys can actually “look†at the car properly? If BMW can simply plug your 06 550i or 335i into there diagnostic scanner and find the fault there is going to be less time spent manual trouble shooting and intern less hours charged out. A car maintained by BMW will also be more appealing come resale time, service carried out by a non agent would sagest the owner is thrifty and may not have used genuine parts. If its an older BMW or a simple oil change I agree by all means use an independent agent.

Try a good polish (not a wax, a polish) if that doesn’t work try some T-Cut and ample albow grease. Clay wont do sh*t, it’s a cleaner. If you manage to reverse the neglect make sure you apply some wax to protect your hard work.

Sorry Brian but no it wouldn’t. L200 vans will hold there value much better being a commercial vehicle where the Previa will be worth nothing in a few years because of all the “identical†Enima badged rubbish coming in from Japan. Haha, I would assume they are tourists, the L200’s were easy to spot as the police brought them in colours most wouldn’t and kept them clean, how many tradies keep these POS van clean?? Speed camera’s make sense to me, they catch dumb people speeding in dumb places and don’t cost bugger all to operate. Cant stand the road patrol Police, sorry but they really are a bunch of hypocritical wanker’s that I liken to sales reps in the sense they drive around trying to get as much money possible in a new car and earn 50k.
-
If I drove a late model BMW I would head to BMW themselves, they have all the latest equipment for your vehicle and most likely charge the same as most of these independent guys, in some cases less from what I have worked out.
-
Yep, I do the same..also freaks the guy in the other car out. Must say im guilty, there is a shop with mirrored glass next to a roundabout in Papakura, looks good on the fly by.
-
They are hardly dangerous… Makes me laugh that the WOF guys would most likely fail this but let retrofitted HID kits pass Still think clear is best anyways. A local sign writer should be able to order and sell you a few meters.

Also im looking to change brake fluid. Does anyone have any personal techniques that work well for them? How much fluid am i going to need? And also where can i source some decently priced Dot 4, as repco seems to be a tad expensive for my liking. It’s a two person job, one to sit in the car and pump the pedal and one to open and close the bleed valve start from the back side of the car further away from the reservoir and drain/bleed from there. Use a MC Donald’s cup with a clear piece of tubing poking through the lid, this way you won’t get fluid everywhere (it eats paint) and so you can see when the new stuff starts draining through, its a good idea to bleed all corners through. I use blue fluid so as I can see its all drained and bleed. I am no mechanic but it works for me, check out Youtube for tips.

One of these things is not like the other one of these things just doesn’t fit. Can you tell which one doesn’t fit children?? Nice pictures man, love the rolling shot and your olds beautiful American cars, do they drive the daily or do they just have their own special garage?
-
Just get some clear yellow vinyl and stick it over the glass, any troubles pull them off and stick some more on when you get home.
-
You are simply endorsing the fact Jap power is far greater bang for buck. Well done.
-
That intercooler will be more that sufficient mate, go to big with the pipes or cooler and you loose responsiveness and the charger ends up working too hard. I don’t think heat will be a problem either, my old system ran the S/C down pipe write next to the exhaust manifold.

Z3 looks the go. If you do it post a how to, im sure a lot of us would be keen.
-
Not many E30 sporting them from what I can find, maybe not to everyone’s taste but it is huge in the states and is catching one here slowly as a cheap mod that stands out from the herd. Im having a set made for one of my cars..
-
Maybe call them of flick an Email. You would have to find some 15†Steel wheels first. Good tyre will cost $150-200 each.
-
Maybe in 3 years when three spokes come back into fashion and everyone will be selling their deep dishes for cheap. This mightn’t happen but you never know.
-
Nope, it’s from North America… and so are all those nice weapons. Why would they quit. Spending the cash is the hard part.. Its hard to launder that much coin.
-
http://www.elitewheelcompany.co.nz/ Cool and cheap, not try hard. Gotta get the stance write though, really low at the front. + IS front lip = Win.
-
Stick some black painted widened steel wheels on it 15x8 front 15x9 rear, should be able to do this with the money you get for your current wheels. Lower the front 10mm and raise the back 10mm. IS front lip. Done, instant cool for under a grand.

Couple of my mates are heading over for spring break… To surf and root. They don’t seem worried, I personally think they are crazy.
