Have just ordered a couple of extra large ports so can send you one when I get them. I know intakes do bugger all for performance but I love the sound of a POD filter and let’s face it, the M20 needs all the acoustic help it can get. Im just going to feed through the head light and onto the end of the CAI.

Happy birthday mate, have a nice day at work.. make sure your not a hold out and buy double happys!

X2. Its obvious I thought. I found myself knowing the question before I read it. I couldn’t see myself killing anyone though Moahhh.

I ended up with the M1 because I could never own one.. Don’t know why the E30 M3 is so desirable, they are a 25k car that you could buy tomorrow, go out and try and buy a M1. Rarity makes something more desirable to me.

IMO So much cooler than a Classic American car for considerably less. Shame about the colour but I suppose if you want it original.. Would look nice in a glossy colour.
-
Sure puts things into perspective…
-
Lol, would be worth more than the bloody car. Do love OZ though.

I would recommend the 325i, as a direct comparison (same car and manual gearbox) the 2.5 uses the same amount of fuel, we get average consumption of 9.5Ltr per 100km travelled, this is mainly around town and hard driving on back roads. Im sure the similar consumption figures are due to the fact I don’t have to give it as bigger rev to get it to move. Maybe drive a few 318i’s if you are concerned about consumption, they have dam near the same performance as the 320i (albeit not as smooth) but sip less gas.

sh*t, Drunk text cost me a wedding and started an ongoing family feud and court case.. Im very carful now. Some classics on that site

Spot on James, I paid $700 to have them swapped and just used my 2.0 gearbox… Left the 320i badge on and no one is the wiser. PS: James your inbox is full

Good idea. Will do this for track day.

My old 2.0 did the same, used to come out the back of the engine and collect in the tray bellow it. I found fitting a 2.5 fixed the problem

Finally you post a picture of your car. I would just paint the wheel centres the same colour as the car or black and fit some clear repeaters.. would look good. Make sure your car will fit the Euro plate at the back, if it’s a Japa it may not.

Lol Thanks. What’s so fascinating about a mini towing a colour coordinated neon caravan?? Perfect for that airbag suspension set up I suppose, will keep all the north shore teenagers happy, they can have a Neon Mini with airbags to mach there Neon Rebok pumps.

That Berton Mantide looks like a real mission to polish. The Ladies of the 2009 Shanghai Motor Show, less so.

Nice, was it a factory 16v?

Used the guide but not the clips that sit in the top of them that stop the rests from coming completely out, this way I can fully remove the rests when needed but still have them solid. I also have a set of rear rests at the trimmer so I'll check if they are designed to be fully removed and use them. Thanks for that link once again, real life saver.

no leather for me just a recover of the worn out driver's seat . thanks for the link might just do it myself .
-
Thank you. Yea it’s completely different, they are 50/50 split fold and BMW have done a beautiful job of concealing where the seat backs are mounted. Im guessing I will have to remove the side bolster pods again, it’s a dreaded job to re-fit them is all. I saw a how too on fitting rear head rests a year or so back and can’t find it anymore.

Im having my front seat recovered next week and thought while I was there id have the upholsterer fit rear head rests and he has asked me to remove the rear seat backs and drop them in. Howe’s it done? I could go and figure it out but I thought I would ask here first as when removing other pieces of trim from the car I have found there are tricks and methods to doing so due to the flush hidden nature of fixings and don’t want to damage anything. Thanks
-
That would be nice, you never see manual ones though, hoping they sell a few for the second hand market in a year or so. It’s a good time to by realestate.. House + E30 = win. Renting + financing expensive car = loss.
-
5k. It’s a crapanese import init? This is worth the money http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-214127203.htm Upgrade from an E30, that’s just crazy talk!

Can’t recommend a brand but can sagest ones without a huge chassis, mine don’t clear the “door open†switch pins.

Shell out a few thousand in rates every year and watch it wasted on bulshit projects by your council and see what a difference it makes. Would love to know what our local council has wasted on poor roading decisions these past few years..
-
Who pays for the community based projects? I bet most people opposed don’t even pay rates.
