Well that video distracted me for a while, that’s sick. Fair enough. Was not having a go I encourage anyone who finds that awesome to get to a track day and do it yourself, after a day I guaranty they will find that video very gay also. You will realise how very easy it is to do safely on a track and how unsafe it is to do on the road. Im not trying to be a boring old bastard, I just wish someone had have encouraged me to go to these days when I was sub 20, wouldn’t have wasted years thinking this muppetry was skilled and cool.

Can’t watch that. My corn fritter was making its way back up
  3. Dam straight, bum draggers looks stink! I hate loading up the back of my car as it evens out the stance and looks try-hard.

Amateur sh*t, that’s not a drift, that’s a power slide on a roundabout, anyone who finds that impressive clearly needs to get out on a track in a car with a bit of grunt and an LSD and find out how easy it is to do. Approach corner, floor it and counter steer with your foot still hard up it, not rocket science, my mum could drift a roundabout in her BMW. Its reckless on the road, the danger thrill element is what makes it amazing, the “risk†inducing testosterone adrenalin buzz fades as you get older and is replaced by responsibility a morality and you realise how utterly gay sh*t like that is! Bloody kids
  5. Would look better if it was a SWB. Love that stance, not enough stance going on these day.

Hilarious.. I don’t see what’s impressive about the first video, stupidity shouldn’t be mistaken for bravery.
  7. Yea, love that too. Thrifty and M don’t work well together. Good for parts.

I have a mate that builds some nice boxes if you get stuck. Jamie 0272707426.
  9. Good work Glenn, you don’t muck around!
  10. Nice, will go handle well with Coil-Over’s. Maybe beef up the swaybar too!
  11. How about you get the car first Carbon bonnets are stink.
  12. That would be bloody scary, hope all pans out ok. Cruise can be dangerous, I have nearly rear ended a few people in the Vectra due to an accidental tap of the stalk (it’s located on the indicator stalk) which increased in increments of 10kph and flaws it!
  13. That sounds amazing, look forward to seeing the end result.
  14. Yes Use them. It makes sense. Go for new as you stock ones will be worn.
  15. The economy is proof of that
  16. Lol all you want, that’s the trick to getting them like new
  17. Cristal clear Good points, it’s a manual V8 with a M3 steering wheel and has leather and a cool phone with a cord. Bad points, the kit and wheels are both imitation, the boot sits funny, the number plate is ominous.
  18. It’s an E39, if you didn’t expect a few issues you’d be mad. If one wanted a manual and was prepared to fix a few things (parts are abundant) it could be a bargain.
  19. Are they factory? If the lenses are blurred it can effect things. Try some plastic polish, Meguiars do a good one called Plastic X, it’s in a white bottle. If that doesn’t work you can restore them with wet and dry 600,1000,1500 and 2000 grit sand paper, followed up with a good polish it’s tricky but it works.
  20. I want it NOW!!! That’s the way. Go to GE money, instant Finance.. Their rates are horrendous though and by the time the car is paid off you will have paid back double what its worth!! Yay!!
  21. Nice.. Bit of a tidy up and some refresh colour coding and lights and It would be awesome.
  22. Either way its going to be expensive. I prefer the second set but polished.
  23. … didn’t you have a nosey when we were parked up on the cruise?? I got a new set of heat shields for mine, I figured BMW fit them on the standard manifold which doesn’t let out as much heat as the stainless so I best fit them! They don’t hinder the look at all. Had mine glowing last week so I need at the protection I can get.
  24. Good stuff, they really do make the car rev harder and smoother don’t they, was well impressed with mine. I had a few teething problems, the welds on the manifold restricted the head bolts from tightening properly.. remedied the problem by cutting the side of a washer off to clear the weld and make the bolts tighten flat and straight. Looks like you have similar plans to me.
  25. Nice, thanks for that!
