Mine is fine on a smooth road but as soon as I hit some coarse chip its way to loud and rough for comfort. I have BOGE shocks in the back and KYB’s in the front and VOTGTLAND 30mm lowering springs all round and run what look to be ok KINGSTAR radials. So is this road vibration normal in the E30? How smooth is yours?

They are all quite good at that level TBH, not sure what three things on the engine it immobilises but you can’t go wrong as long as they do a decent install, good work suggesting the black wire install, if done well that should confuse the hell out of your average thief. A sound investment if you treasure your car and plan on keeping it for a while. You should be able to get another $50 off that at least, you’d be amazed at how cheap the units themselves are. Didn’t have the rears done, had ordered KYB’s but wasn’t happy with the fronts after a week so never fitted the back. I am looking at getting some more BOGE to replace the fronts when I come up with another couple of hundred. Sorry if I was misleading. Next up is the rear swaybar link bushes, these were apparently fixed when it had the springs fitted but one side has come adrift again, I reset them yesterday.

May have been the missus shopping! We live out south, delivered the car to its new owner yesterday in Napier to a chap called Mr Apple! Didn’t lose anything on it so we were happy. It will be missed, would defiantly like a M5 version in a couple of years. PS: I was at the carting day in it!

RE;kids At your stage in life I can see where you are coming from, it’s the early twenty’s late teens that are the problem. I know of women that have had kids simply because the wish to dumb down and not work, an easy way out so to speak. The missus and I would love kids but we choose to become debt free beforehand so that we can comfortably support our family when the time comes, we have worked hard to pay off our massive student loan and are now hitting our mortgage down. National are winning the polls due to people being lazy and wanting a change without having to do anything themselves. Look forwarded to seeing what happens over the next month.
