  1. I suppose basket weaves would suit it best then, its personal preference though, Im a big fan of OEM of tuner wheels like AC/Alpina/Hartge and would most likely only ever consider BBS as an aftermarket option. You are in England though so the choice would be staggering one would think, I look at Performance BMW’s feature cars with envy.
  2. What car is it for? What kit does it have? I like the Alpina multi spokes and given they were available here I would snap a set up, I originally had my hart set on some split rims but they were ultimately only good for show purposes and not practical. I know you said no 5-Lug but I like this for some reason, the wheels just work well with the Silver Tech II Touring. Wow that thread still gets me excited every time I scroll through it, it also makes me glad I don’t have a credit card.
  3. Wow there are quite a few nutritionists on here aren’t there!
  4. I like the extra saucy type in the mega cup from fantastic noodles.. Don’t eat them often though, prefer bread.
  5. This guy did ok.. Instant noodle inventor dies at 96
  6. Ah I’ll figure it out, just thought I check for a bit of local knowledge before calling BMW and asking them for the info. The Non M cars seem to have an electronic swing retractable tow bar whilst the M’s have to be done manually. Either way that’s an expensive knob, I’ll add that to the list of options I have found on this car, it would have had over 20K of options on the bloody thing.
  7. Thanks, it has a removable centre cover and from the looks of it just slips in and screws up, it also has a plug for the trailer lights that must activate to self leavening system. BMW don’t have any info or even a listed option on their web page nor does the owner’s manual have any info. I will have a go and do a how to for future reference. Will ask when I there next time. Thanks.
  8. I gave the car a “quick†clean on the weekend after getting a some stone chips removed and the bumpers realigned and thought I would tackle my mags with some polish and wax and clean my suspension and breaks, when looking for the lock nut I found a odd shaped thing in the tool box, a tow ball, having not realised I had one im pretty stoked! It has the bonus of self levelling suspension also. This is great as I need to move a few things around next weekend and was going to borrow a mate’s car to tow a hire trailer. There is no info as to how it works and it looks as if it has never been used! The first owner of this car must have just ticked every option for the sake of having them Im finding new options every week. Does anyone have a link as to how to insert this odd shaped detachable tow bar or any info in regards to what the tow rate would be?? Just thought I’d ask to save a call to BMW. Thanks
  9. Welcome to Bimmersport, nice car. The CarPc thing sounds interesting, how quick does it boot up?
  10. Message received load and clear.
  11. If it’s not wankishly load quit your moaning ahahha.. we can judge it on Cart day Its a Six anyways! Is it Manual?? Because load and Auto is 100% wronge!
  12. Police will be taking 25 demerit points from drivers of wankishly load cars soon so maybe a cert would be a good idea if you’re worried.
  13. Yea, I get the same thing threw Manukau (they have been working on it for like a year now) and no one seems to slow down!! I just go with the flow..
  14. If it’s a quality known brand like Miltec of Remus it would have had to pass the strict European laws as mentioned above and would no doubt be fine. Im all for the law as I for one can’t stand load cars that are load for the sake of being load, I would however like to see a certain amount of discretion applied from both the WOF inspector and the Police (new legislations just passed) as to what is annoying and what is to load. I see they are also measuring wank blow off valves and external waist gates/screamer down pipes also. What is the benefit of having load cars anyway?? Do people think other‘s will admire them?

  16. If its only one just whack your spare on, get your tire taken off and drop it in.. will save you a hundred bucks and will look better as he will recoat the whole rim.. But considering you’re not paying for it these guys will come round and do it while you’re at work. http://www.wheelfixit.co.nz/ also http://www.sharrock-engineers.co.nz/ also http://www.brugar.co.nz/
  17. There are mobile places around just do a search, I need all mine done and was quoted about $500+GST for the set from a guy that does it for car dealers.. Only down side and what has held me up from doing it as that I will need to supply the rims tireless and as its all four I need to get some axel stands.. BIG Mission for me. 18. Any idea as to how many Kms they have done?? Are you selling them??
  19. So it wasn’t for a friend…. Hence my Questioning. Sorry about the X5.
  20. I think Quailboy is Ultra72 ahahah Jokes Would rather a tidy Tech-2 M325i for that coin but it would make a nice lookig race rep.
  21. Im a boring old man so I would agree with Graham and simply buy a better BMW and save yourself a hell of a lot of time and effort. In saying that, if you have the time and money and want something truly different I would look at a buying a wrecked M3 and creating NZ’s first E46 M3 4-door.
  22. My PS3 can suck a whole month’s allocation in one weekend!! $50 in one weekend! Its too slow and too expensive.
