That guy narrating that video was so boring I fell asleep after 22 seconds..

My car has all of a sudden started stalling out as if its running out of petrol, any suggestions as to what this could be. I thought Id ask here first as it could be a common fault like an sensor or something. It’s a NZ new 320i facelift Thanks heaps

Same here, Im a car nut and clean both my cars every week, detail once a month and Polish/Wax every second month. It’s called taking pride in what you worked hard for, if you spend thousands on a car why not maintain its appearance and show off. I must be small minded :0

I work from home and use a bike to nip around town so im doing my bit buy only using 20L of 98 a month, I turn all things bar my Computer off at the wall, use a lot of florescent lights, I have a sign on my letter box stating no junk mail, I don’t use a heater I wear a jumper, I don’t wash my clothes unless they stink, I recycle all plastics including bags. I think as a nation we are quite clean and efficient, I have just returned from Asia and as a kiwi I was disgusted buy the amount of smog and waist there, they over package everything with thick plastics and Styrofoam (2 McDonalds Combo had 3 separate (plastic) bags and meals were packed in Styrofoam) and there was rubbish everywhere and a general lack of care for the environment.

Check if your glove box light works, if not it could simply be fuse #12 in the fuse box under the hood (looks like a lunch box with lots of colourful fuses in it) you can buy a new fuse from a gas station and fix it yourself… If this doesn’t work you have only lost a couple of bucks trying.

I would say get him a manual as it will teach him how to drive properly, and if he is a car nut get him something with a little bit of grunt (like over 90kw) otherwise he will be wanting to sell it in a few months and buy a Jappa... 6k would buy you a much safer late model low rent car. IMHO I would sagest a E30 as the better first car as they are more reliable and easier to maintain if your into a bit of DIY.

May not be any help but my Mum has had a NZ new E46 for 6 years and nothing has gone wrong with it. Ever. That car changed my opinion of BMW’s, If they are looked after and properly maintained they are brilliant reliable cars so I would sagest getting NZ new with full service history, it may cost a few grand more but you’ll get it back in saved repair costs and resale value.

Cool thanks for the heads up. That Black M3 seems a bit steep, but if Denny Hulme’s name is on the previous owners details sheet it has some nice heritage and would be the ultimate M3 for a collector.

Coilovers if you want it to be legal and handle better than stock. If your after the fully sick badass gangster look and don’t care how it drives or how safe it is I would say just use a Makita lowering grinder or compress them too much, fully sickness for under $200
