Happy Birthday Jared. Shoot some ducks and have a couple of beers.

Someone’s got some mean Avanti Stalkers on their 94' Gravel express now.
-
The ride quality in the one pictured would be crap also..and its LHD and American so pick up time could be slow.
-
My thoughts were that you needed a special licence. Cheaper than a Taxi by far, it costs $120 for about half an hour in Auckland.

Thats the one, such a nice car.. now I would put myself in a very hard spot financially for one of those. I like the idea of practicality with high performance, a sedan or coupe doesn't cut it for me, you just cant get anything in them.. might be why I have a big soft spot for hot hatches.

They dont make a E91 M3 unfortunatlly. I have seen a brilliant replica though.

That sucks man, feel for ya. Do you park your car on the road? Defiantly worth contacting insurance. Battery acid is better, not only does it destroy the paint, it eats rubber, plastic, everything. Weed Sprayer in the middle of the night, the next morning the car will be f**ked. So im told.

I don't think anyone would reference a forum in the paper. I would say he means the article on the same subject as this discussion. WTF is that thing??

So what was the toll, 5, it’s like a game show for the media, you gotta love it, im sure they could turn it into a series if they tried hard enough. http://tvnz.co.nz/national-news/young-driv...r-crash-4139234 From what I can see the darkness is the major contributing factor after rain, I sagest they crack down on night time and rain next holidays and ban people from driving in either. I’d say after that Alcohol plays a big part... maybe a lazer that breathalysers people? To hard? One would think any accident will involve speed, it’s hard to crash a car without actual movement, its just the easiest thing to Police. On the upside I did not see one cop the entire weekend and didn’t kill myself or anyone else.. one cyclist did come quite close though, those jokers have some big balls in those tight shorts.

Just needs a Quaife and Bobs your tyre smoking uncle. When my mate brought it I said to him I want fist dibs when he sells it, unfortunately he changes cars quicker than I do the battery's in my wireless mouse and it has not depreciated to within my price range. Its a very nice car, some would say the ultimate 3 series Touring.

Thanks. Was just getting at the point they are not an entirely bad road performance tyre, especially on Kiwi roads, certainly not nana IMHO, we were the only team running road tyres and were actually passing people mid stages. I like to think it was a good test of their performance on NZ roads, they went from 80% tread to un warrantable after two days so that shows how hard we were driving on them, I have never seen a road tyre worn like these, one entire block is missing all together on one side. We are have tested a lot faster on proper semi slicks, they give far higher grip, feel and security..but cost 3k for a set and only last a week.

Confirmation that I am in fact a highly skilled driver, I entered Targa Bambina on a set of these nana sport maxx road tyres and finished well ahead of a lot of people running actual hard core race tyres, hell I was fastest car in a FWD configuration and with them fitted I also manage to carve good times on track, better than similar cars with race tyres. Just call me Stiggy. I can only imagine how fast I would be with a set of “insert your preferred brand†tyres or real race tyres. With this new found knowledge I plan on winning the main Targa event in October as I will have my band new D0G3’s on. Winner winner chicken dinner.

The F1 is a sports tyre designed for and predominantly found on lighter sports or performance type cars, it’s my opinion that 20,000km is reasonable wear for that tyre on a big car like the seven. Unfortunately with a car of that bulk a wear/performance compromise is always going to be tough. Maybe ask what other brands E38 owners run and find out how performance orientated they are?

Best shop for an alignment in Auckland?
Apex replied to Michael.'s topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Its hard to "set up a car" with bugger all adjustment and worn components. What is it you need doing? -
True that, I have no issue with them at double the speed limit. (Closed roads)
-
Do both, would be an awesome combo. They do Miltek if you want proven performance and quality off the shelf stainless.

Some new product.. The Megane will be there.
