  1. Sorry I have no suggestions. Funny that you call it a lemon though, poor old thing, surly anyone would expect issues with a 300,000km european car that is near 30 years old? Or maybe its Yellow and i'm missing something.
  2. That’s reasonable cost to fix. But yea, it could crap out in 5 mins. He may have to cut hiss losses and buy a Toyota.
  3. It was the manufacture of the gearboxes, would have been some trade agreement deal that the French Government enforced, they were shocking and went into most French cars from the late nineties to early naughties. For a laugh, call into the Renault workshop in Greenlane next time you are walking past, guaranty they will be booked up with Auto Trans swaps, I swear 90% of their business is auto swaps, and because Renault had their cars designed by aliens no one can fix them. I'm glad my gear box is designed by the Japanese thanks to Renault owning part of Nissan.
  4. It will cost more to fix than the car is worth, the Laguna is a POS. Anything Auto and that old from France is crap TBH, was a dark time. I got some parts off this guy for my car, he is a rip off but service was great, same day delivery. http://www.rennojag.co.nz/
  5. Thanks. They look great. Will be in touch when the budget allows, I have 90% of my gear ready to go into the car for a full install but have been stuck at what to do with my head unit, this solves the problem as I think it looks quite good, near OEM.
  6. Thanks Jason. I thought you were selling them! Agreed about the stacker, its just nice to keep everything factory hooked up, plus a magazine full CD's is handy when I forget my I-Pod or it runs flat.
  7. Looks great. Think I have to start saving. Hey one more question, will my OEM stacker work with this? No biggie if it doesn't, just a bonus. So Bimmersport price is $1,080.00? Would like to have a play with one before purchasing. Is that an option?
  8. These look great. I would like one for my E46 at some stage when I do an audio upgrade. Can you tell me if it has a pre outs to run amps, I have a four channel amp as well as a single channel amp for a subwoofer. What range of audio control does it have, IE built on preset equalisers, sub control or anything like that? Can I retain my OEM steering wheel audio controls? What Sat-Nav system does it use and are the maps updatable? Thanks in advance.
  9. Take it as you will I will even dig-nify your dig with an answer as I have just had my daily Monster energy drink. A 350+bhp E30 is a composed and fast vehicle, well a nicely set up one is. Think best touring car of all time. A FWD hatchback would be a pig with 600+HP, I would think the limits of drivability would be around the 300hp hauling say 1,100kg, the guys in Europe run that power though By "whats the poin"t I mean the RS4 is as capable (or not) as its going to be with stock to off the shelf tuned 500bhp, to get it up in the mid 600hp zone would jeopardise reliability and only emphasise its weak points and take a sh*t load of time and money to achieve and still not be able to do a burn out. I suppose I do get the point of these cars and other dyno queens, its point is for its driver to turn up to a dyno day, watch it put out huge power and giggle with his equally gay friends. Yay.
  10. Nice vid alright, makes a very cold and very boring day in the middle of Europe actually look fun. Fat guy on crutches typical Audi driver. I do have to question the point of a 600bhp RS4? Would be a absolute pig of a beast.
  11. Meh its old Japanese rubbish by todays standards and they are so old half the sh*t wouldn't work in any case, I remember a friends dad had one near new when I was kid, was a boat and quite slow but had some cool features. Here is reason not to want the active suspension, look at how much more fun the driver of the non active car is having.
  12. Quite advanced that’s for sure, I know of quite a few European car companies only offering this as of the last few years. Was it not offered in the 1JZ version?
  13. Maybe they could get our cousins to do the flash work and have a chav option package for trust fund kids? I think most would agree with you that it looks understated, but that’s the beauty of the M5’s, they have always been understated. For me it’s the correct level of sportiness, the subtle colour and "normal" sized black rims are great. You just know G-Power, Hannmmaammm or some other rice company will bring out a kit for it and vinyl wrap it mat yellow on 22" wheels so there will be no problem up specking it.
  14. Sweet vids guys. Man that hill looks steep morerevsm3, I have to admire your method of turning around at the top, the guy in the Clio V6 could used some pointers. Keen to do a few hill climbs this year in-between Targa events. If anyone can recomend some in the NI let us know.
  15. Buy an Island off the coast of Phuket and set it up as a supervillain hide out, I would then build a laser that harnesses the power of the sun and hold the world ransom for a heaps of sweet as cars. Then, I would hire Michal Jacksons or Heath Ledgers chemist and go on a massive upper and downer binge touring the world in my sweet cars picking up hot women.. May only last a year or so before I croke put it will be fun. Or this.
  16. I buy music and i'm old. Be it CD or I-Tunes.
  17. Because the last four M5’s weren’t sleepers? Well maybe the E60 was bit more out of the box but the rest are hard to spot. To me they look like a really big Korean car, like huge, have only seen a few on the roads and one was as wide as the lane it was nearly in, they must be a bugger to negate in built up city’s and car parks., I suppose with new premium cars you just let the sonar do its job and hope for the best.
  18. This stuff is good. It’s my last resort product before sand paper and can clean/polish anything from exhaust tips to throttle bodies to dull looking lights, invaluable and a staple in any shed. Sorry mate I already have two tubes, so good for say 34 years.

    24k M325i

I would expect it to come with the big bag of crack and a pipe that the owner is using, along with his time machine that he is using that places this car as a 20k+ car in 2034. Honestly, when I sold my M325i last year I had a lot of phone calls from people saying I was mad selling it at near 10k and that they were worth much more, they just never seem to sell for much much more.
  20. You and me both buddy! One thing that I was amazed with was the size of the F10, it must be bigger than a 90's seven series.
  21. Thats perfect. 10/10 for me. So much more appealing than the E60 for me, more economical, usable and reliable. "Goes off on dream tangent"
  22. Man I want this game with all the talking up of it. No Time No Money May be a while off
