Most of the “tuners†here do the same max so it’s not exclusive to Europe, the only reason we have so many tuned Japanese cars is because of our relaxed used import rules, NZ has more JDM cars per capita than any other country outside of Japan, we also get used parts very cheap. I have two large dogs that bark like mad, our neighbors don't complain, one is actually quite happy as they help foil the attempted robbery of his work van outside his house. I find the sound of children annoying, I rang the council to see if they could remove the ones next door but they have yet to do anything about it. Luckily my house is brick and is well insulated so the children noises are easily closed out.

245kw and 450nm off the top of my head, 0-100 low sixes and electronically limited to 250kph, can verify that, we had one for a few months and loved it, they are big car but drive a whole lot smaller than they look, performance wise the only problem was a lack of traction with the driver aids turned off, it really needs a LSD. I drove one next to a HSV with 317kw and whilst down on power, in terms of usable performance it’s a much better car. This one has a brand new clutch and a few other brand new goodies and I have on good authority that it has had near 10k recently spent at BMW. Only downer for me is the horrid wheels and the slightly ambitious asking price, I know a SMG touring is rare but its been on their books for three months, given it was a 550i I think it could justify that price but realistically it’s a $50-55k car IMO. Would like to go and drive it but fair I might buy it.

The 328ci is a good car, funny you are comparing the two as my dear old mother did the same just last year when looking at trading her 328ci on a new one series, although she was looking at a 123d orr 135i, we noted the E46 even after all these years was a far superior car, even to the new 325i at the time. I would drive a Golf if you can, it will tick all your boxes and leave the 328ci behind performace wise.

From what it reads on Jono’s website they are the same. I have stalked out a lady driving a E36 325i with factory style 5 option, was just checking before I make an offer on them.. they would look nice on a E46 with a chrome package is my thinking. Cheers guys.

That is nice. I say buy it, have not seen many but in term of emasculating other road users these do a good job, I remember sitting at the lights next to one years ago in my boy racer car and giving the driver an ear full of Remus, he didn’t even acknowledge me but as soon at that light turned green the behemoth of a wagon was a dot in the distance, couldn’t believe something of that size could accelerate from a stand still so quick

Fair enough, it’s a rare beasty and hard to value. I’ll throw 9-11k out there as to what it would maybe sell for if you find a captive audience. Not saying that is what its worth but that is where it would sell for IMHO. All the best with the sale, it’s a fantastic vehicle.
