Aren’t we posh in our Euro’s, or is this the Lexus Owners Club, Most cars are built like disposable camera’s these days, I have been in brand new BMW’s and found rattles and trim loose, perfect example as a demo E46 and the lining around the door frame was falling off at less than 5,000km, drove a 135i and the plastics were cheaper than a Hyundai.. Worst car build quality wise I have owned was a 1996 E39, that thing just fell apart and failed until eventually writing itself off with faults. At least the panels lined up though, my French car looks to have come with factory accident damage looking at the panel gaps. Last properly built BMW was the E34.

Unfortunately to do so they are very hard on tyres and brakes, if you drive a turbo hard you will be easily up for 15k a year on maintenance, if something’s fails triple that. The non turbo’s still chew through the pads and disks so maybe give a service department a call and get some pricing.

You wont have any problems at Taupo, it will be oversteer city, last time I was there in the 545i I needed two new tyres on the Monday. I don't have my times yet but think I set a new PB on one session when I went hard, will check tomorrow. As long as I kept ahead of James I'm happy!

This is true, gotta love that leather and the sound of those V8's, Hybrids M325i looked like a shed load of fun! Most impressive diver was James in the M325i, that boy is freak and was no doubt the fastest BMW there! Well done one again guys, woke up and im still amping.

I have 10 E36's under my house.

Because they are cool and good ones are few and far between. That’s about it really. You don’t look try hard and pretentious in an E30 as you do in newer BMW’s. The E36 will have its day again, give it 5 more years

Ahhhhh right you are Tim. Keep it quite. My dream E30 is racing metallic brown, have a few plans.. didn’t realise the BMW X1 Brown was like that, makes it a dam sight easier to get that colour, I was looking at H.O.C Candy Brown. Brown is the new black in Germany ATM.
