Someone needs to build a pimp E32. It is time
-
Might be silly but mine did that when a door or boot wasn't closed properly
-
Anyone got one of these or have an opinion on what they are like to live with/drive every day?
-
Anyway. Darryl does a bloody good job and can X2 on a good job. He is a perfectionist and a true magician. BMW's have thick paint and tough steel so it takes him ages, he spent 4 hours on one dent on my E30 and still charged the flat rate, you’d never know it was ever there

Average 8.9L/100 An hour and half has it empty on track though where average goes up to well above 25L+/100

Idiot things previous owners have done to your car.

I just use Prepsol and a rag… when its clearing up I move onto Turtle Wax Tar & Bug remover, let it soak and then machine cut it. At the end of the day we can’t really complain what previous owners have done to our cars as they were good enough to buy it for big $$$ and hold on to it for us whilst loosing sh*t loads in depreciation and then sell it to us for cheap. If we want new we need to buy new, you don’t buy second hand underwear and complain about the stains. -
Cheers Mike. I don’t agree that Titanium is a fad, if it were surly the top auto manufactures and race teams would use something else. I for one cant afford it The Supersprint stuff is quite expensive but top notch quality from what owners in the UK report. Will you bring in parts ie: down pipes and what-not? Maybe send a whole bunch in one big order?

Yes lightweight-izin haha. I love the fact even the top guys use cable ties. Those road going 320SI's look quite good also, I suppose we will start seeing a flood of them used from Japan soon?
-
Guard rolling, you’re doing it wrong.
-
Like any Euro it’s going to come down to its history and how diligent the previous owner has been. If you can avoid a cam belt change on one of these you will be doing well, front disks are also expensive. From all accounts I have see those are the major costs on what are a reliable strong car, they are put together quite well. Try looking on VASK, there are quite a few members with them on there. Glenn will give you a fair idea of what can go wrong and scare you off one no doubt.
-
Haha yea closer to its full value if you ask Renault for the factory upgrade Ti system, the factory Stainless system has a $8,000 replacement cost
-
Hi Mike. How much for a full Titanium turbo back?
-
It’s for a good cause. I would love to see it do a 1.10 that would be very impressive indeed. In fact I would donate to the charity just to see proof of that.

Na mate do it yourself, get a few of the boys around, few beers and bobs your uncle. It would be a first on Bimmersport. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-309280697.htm I really can’t see a dilemma here, women and parents will believe anything and with your automotive engineering qualifications im sure the wool can be pulled. Save women making the decisions for later in life when you no longer care.

Welcome to BS. Come along to Bimmersport MegaMeet and show us how it’s done in the Masterton Massive..

If you want Kicker I have an account and could get them for you at a bloody sharp price, Just have a look at the kicker website and let know what you want, I can have it sent to you direct. Can recommend their wiring kits too, they are top notch but a bit expensive. -
Much beter. You have saved this car. Good man.
-
They do, it’s called the Mini and its one of the best FWD chassis available. Because this is sharing the next gens platform it will be brilliant. Who here would actually buy one? Anyone? I would and have friends who would, its more than just selling a great car its selling a great brand and experience. Im guessing its aimed at a 25-35 year old buyer with 35-45k to spend, I can see how this is very appealing, I see it as a great way to get into a new BMW and experience what owning a new BMW is like, anyone who does buy new cars and has experienced BMW’s customers service will understand, BMW know people like myself don’t want a entry level one series nor do we want a compact biased three series, we know RWD is great but what good is it when the car only has 90kw and no options, we will likely head across the road and buy a nice new VW Golf or Audi A3 as it will have far greater performance and standard equipment.
-
X2. Im am near certain half the members around here have not picked up a car magazine in the last ten years other than Auto Trader which they think is a new car magazine and the only semi modern vehicle they have driven is granddads 2005 Toyota Aurion and are completely oblivious to two new companies called Audi and Mercedes Benz, both offer a small FWD car and are looking to be the number one “premium†car company before 2015, they most likely haven’t seen the price of New Japanese small premium cars nor serviced them. These people are who BMW are targeting with this car
-
So you have lots of things to replace? Im thinking I might juts buy a E30 shell and start from scratch, would be fun!
-
I hope so. Go Counties!
-
You have to account for the fact that the competition has got a lot better, its 2010, the late 80’s was 20 years ago and BMW can no longer build a car that is makeable better than what’s on offer from everyone else, if they don’t expand they will be eaten alive.
