530i M54 steering pump has started making a buzzing/whining noise under full lock, a little quieter the less I'm turning. Have googled and could be the pump? Seems like a common thing... Any other ideas? May have to take it somewhere to be diagnosed I guess.

Has been done, check E30tech or one of those forums. Have to use facelift valance for the front and some level of fabrication to do the rear as the bumpers too deep I think

Take off all the center console and trace the wires looking for a wire thats exposed, crimped, rubbed through etc...I believe the diff speed sensor thing wires run up into the console where you're poking at stuff. Tired -

M-Parallels in black? I think painting a wheel black makes you lose the shape of the centers...suggest a grey, charcoal instead?

Added style 5's - lots of people initially PM'd me about these and I was going to fix up and leave a blank canvas for someone to finish off, but 3 papers at uni, a full time job...etc mean this isn't possible anymore.

Spent the whole day cleaning the E39 Tried Lux soap flakes on the leather to get rid of the shine, worked really well, the water was disgusting afterwards! Kidneys were broken so painted them black, don't know if I like it... Before: After: Ordered a bunch of new stuff too: BMW badges, bulbs, halo LEDs, airbag sensor, bunch of assorted clips and picked up fluids and filters for a service next week.
