Awesome, quick, do more videos. Very entertaining to watch. Looks like the duct tape/passenger seat combo worked well!
-
Oooooooooooh, don't suppose the track is available for download or something? I'd love to give it a go. If it's yours...I'll swap ya a E30 ac compressor for it Was that the computer driving? Or do you possess the mad killer B skillz?

I want them backkk lol. They're hot wheels! Have absolutely no use for them though haha...though, they might fit my new shaven calipers..
-
Was off trademe, VW wrecker. Was $90+gst...somewhat expensive

Just back from driving the car with new BMC setup and new pads. Wicked. Stops/feels better than the E46. I can't get over how much win there is. Car is probably now setup for twice the power it has haha. Pics and a clean to come...once cert plate arrives...(one day)

I'm definitely not cool. My steering wheel is the most un-dished wheel...ever. Car looks good Nathan

Lotus have a hemp composite car, and there's research into using flax fibre instead of carbon? Perhaps there was some research into his design

I also. Have wondered about turning some aluminium with a urethane sandwiche with an allthread holding it together?. Would be a fairly simple job on the lathe + drill.

If they're genuine 57sx-Pro's they're a one piece coated in titanium - 81,000 per wheel! Discolouration is not forced like the copies. 57S-Pro's are 79,000yen + 20,000yen for the Ti coating!! I think they look silly.

Dear Bimmersport, Please buy this before I am able to. Kind Regards, JiB

Like I said in the other thread, you could even go for 1.5-2deg camber and bulk up with the castor - best of both worlds.
-
I think the issue with excessive camber is not so much the tyre wear (that's just a $$$ issue) but excessive camber reduces the contact patch in a straight line - most pertinent under braking - which is probably more of an issue at the track. But I guess with 16x9 you don't have a choice? I guess getting a wheel that fits properly is out of the question?

Lol, I must be! But here's mine on a sunnier day. See I'm not totally bonkers. Let us know what colour the strut tower says
-
If it's driftit's 325i, I swear it's the same colour. Gunmetal with a bit of green in it. It's a pimp colour, I got sick of it at first, but it's definitely grown on me! "Dolphin Metallic"

Yes, 195/65R14, 205/50R16 and 225/45R16's are the same rolling diameter +/- 0.4%

Welcome to 300,000km+ 2.5L delphin metallic PFL E30 coupe ownership Nice to see my car's twin go to good hands Muchos jealous of tech1 wing!
-
Go for max castor. And you can probably run about 2deg camber. I've got 2.5deg and it's too much. Borderline alright with R888's, but definitely too much with street rubber.

I really hated having to cross speed bumps in my old car. I felt like such a berk. Oh, if only I knew it was the cool thing to do Anyone want "turn off your foglights, you don't need them" stickers?
-
Hellz yeah. Hey Henry, could you post up a close up picture of your front quarter? I'm wondering if the trim at the ends of the front bumper are any different to normal PFL. (This is so I can put my tech1 on without duct tape )
-
I think 205/50R16's would be awesome. 7.5 is the max wheel width for 205's and E30's don't make much torque or power to need anything wider

Hmm, I can see the cage stopping longitudal (sp?) movement and some lateral, but the tops of the strut is unaffected?
