Talking to Glenn, M325's have beefier joints, The shafts have a raised lump halfway down them, normal ones dont seem too, which makes it easy to tell them apart. My 323i Sport has no lumps FWIW. Left a message on ya ph HellBM

When I lived in Darwin, NT, 2L of Milk was $6AU, and it was just powdered milk rehydrated! Stop whinging Got paid less, and gas price fluctuated hugely daily. Grass is greener, my ass

Complete with CV's, in good condition http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=...hg=33&fg=25 Car has no ABS, so it shouldnt AFAIK matter if theyre off ABS/Non ABS cars.

Welcome, How do you find the BC coilovers?

^Hell yes. I want those batwings bad!

Think I might have cocked the above formula up, equation is for a 4 cylinder engine so the equation for the secondary diameter is only taking the diameter of two primaries, whereas Ive got 2 lots of 3. Not 100% but I think it should be something like this - Which works out, 6x2x1 tuned for M50B25 at 6k rpm with stock cam - 1.55" ID 15" Primaries 2.5" ID 12.5" Secondaries

Does look like a good deal. Its not a M325, still got the poverty pack seats etc... Did genuine Alpinas come with BMW centre caps? Carjam - Licence expired 6 months 1 week ago on 24th March 2010. WOF expired 6 months 6 days ago on 25th March 2010. Last WOF inspection did not pass Odometer is all over the place too, and is in miles not k's...

Looks kinda similar with the raised up "grill" lines, but I havent seen a BBS with spotlights and brake ducts?

Can anyone identify my front spoiler? Looks like its missing the lower edge/lip, but doesnt seem to look like a normal tech 1 front?

Cheers man, added to my list , got any LSD fluid recommendations, I assume the 75w140 NS as well? Sorry for the Semi-Hijack F.G

Got me a 3.64 LSD, sounds like a minter (35,000k on it) and some 17x7.5 Alpinas lined up. Im on the hunt for the diameters of M325 axles, want to double check that mine arent already M325 ones. Anyone have any advice other than go visit wreckers with a set of verniers? After some with good/newish CV's as I suspect mine are shagged too. If thats the only option anyone know of a wrecker with a set of M325i ones? Ive got a new centre bearing for the driveshaft, new seals for the gearbox (input, output, selector), new bushes for the shifter, and polyurethane bushes for the whole shibang, some new brake rotors, Still need to find a Z3/shortshifter, keep watching HellBM's trademe auctions Is there anything I am forgetting driveline wise that is likely focked at 140,000 miles? Wheel bearings seem good, I suspect the previous owner replaced them, is the guibo worth replacing in the name of peace-o-mind? Last I looked it looked fine and dandy. I have the first 2 weeks of December to near totally pull apart the E30 and then stick it back together again (with a new engine and coilovers), so dont really want to be waiting for a part ive forgotten, which could hold the rebuild up! Looking forward to driving this thing

Purple E36 328 out at Auckland domestic terminal, 4 TEZIN, interesting looking body kit with some serious large vents in the front gaurds. Member of bimmersport?

Thanks for the advice E21/E30 323 flywheel weighs 6.1kgs standard, I think ill only machine enough off for G260 clearance then! Out of curiosity, whats ya gear box cocktail, recommend it for the 260?
-
Aparently, according to the interwebs and Glenn, 323 does have the light flywheel. Im getting mine machined down for the M50 swap, I hope it doesnt get so light that it becomes a biatch to drive

Bet it boosts hard with the big bore, nice rimming too. WTF do people think when they do this? I mean it must have cost a bit too pay for the paint, those horrific wheels, the incredibly rice lights. 6k...

Out of curiosity man, how much did the M52 conversion set you back? If you dont mind me asking I guess a benefit of an M52 is also the likelihood of it having less k's on it than an M50, and requiring less replacement bits, kinda offset the cheaper M50 initial price, but then ya gotta add all the EWS shizzle cost (and headaches)

Dude. E36 316 is a very different car to an E46 328. $1800 is not a flat rate charge, or you'd see a whole bunch of ferrari flappy paddle gearboxes on tardme.
