Bringing it tomorrow? Keen as a bean to check it out.

Pokemon graphics, samurai shifter (auto), USB fluffy animal... 18888 price tag... just guessing but I think the owner is Asian... Actually would look pretty cool in solid yellow though.
-
Im with AMI too, got it independently valued, and have agreed value cover.

Mines insured for 16

Basic stuff first - when was the fluid replaced? What condition are the pads and rotors in? Is it something dumb like just needing bleeding?
-
Found a forestry road in the middle of nowhere and enjoyed it

Adaptations don't reset with battery disconnect, got to command it to forget what its learnt. Sounds promising! Do stage FP send you out a dongle and software link, or is it third party stuff?

Awesome sauce, whos doing the tuning?

The $10 subscription is piracy, its not a legit copy. Legit Carly is a rip off and the app is like a crayon drawing of the real tools. Im happy to pay for the devs to make good sh*t that worth it, and Bimmergeeks protools is that. It is NCS expert etc, just as powerful, its just wrapped in a GUI thats useable and has real customer support. More than happy to pay a fair price for it.

Id start from scratch with reset of adaptations and go from there, hollah if you want to throw protool at it.

Flew Akl-Palmy return yesterday, on the way back the pilot skipped the "there may be some turbulence on the climb, but we expect the cruise to be smooth" and just went straight to "there are sick bags in the back of the seat in front of you"

I wonder if its gone from an AGM (as most LCIs are) to a standard lead acid, and without registration it'll be very confused.
-
If it hasnt been registered weird stuff can happen, as it predicts the batteries performance. Could 100% be causing the fault, ive even seen a fire apparently caused by not registering a battery(!!) Most of the OBD2 apps can do it, must be someone in Welly you can hit up. Failing that a BMW independent workshop will be able to do it in about 2 minutes.

Rough value for insurance and my own knowledge.
Jacko replied to Rgvkiwi's topic in General Discussion
If you want to do agreed value insurance, you'll need someone like a LMVT dealer to value it. -
Protools is awesome.
-
Get it scanned is the only real way to see whats up

The new Alfa... take note BMW, new cars do not have to look like pokemon robots that just got slapped in the face with a waffle iron.
-
Another wang option, going cheap on faceballs, which is surprising as its quite tasteful.
-
yup, but Im running the SMF which likes to have gear chatter with thinner oil.
-
Penrite Progear 75w90, shes a bit thicc on a cold morning but once up to temp is awesome sauce.

Can you get M5 rotors cheaper than this? - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/123588455233
-
Apparently you can trim pads down to fit or something similar? I considered it then found the brembo rotors for cheap. Finding 135 pads is piss easy, in any flavour you want.

Evo 6 tarted up with AD08RS, coil overs, front mount Vs 130 with a cheapy LSD, koni stock shocks, eibach springs and sway bars (and much better driver)

34216780217 & 34216780218 - Right and Left Rear rotors were the hardest bits to find at sane prices, since AFAIK they only fit 130s with the BBK. I got the fancy pants brembo ones off german ebay for like $300NZD
