  1. like http://exchange.goo-net.com/usedcars/BMW_A...0004/index.html
  2. 535is will do about 12L per 100km on average 10ish on a trip and 14-15 if you push it all the time 540i are better on a trip due to there tall gearing but can upwards to 16L per 100km if you push it both are not to bad to matain. 540i auto will fail at some stage 535i 5spd are pretty bullit prof . both are heavy cars but well made (probably best bmw made) also consider E28 535ia , lighter ,more ecnomy more power and torque than e34 535i and simply like here http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=39768
  3. do i sniff a alpina B7 turbo replica race car?? theres a early rustyish shell 1980?? at european car parts parts missing but still on 4 wheels but probably better to go to a 1984 onwards model
  4. good luck how about a nice 4 door version rust free , reg on hold excelent engine and 4spd auto
  5. have black door card with cloth insert. have drivers reg and motor etc. 021433600 [email protected]
  6. m52b28 seimans ecu's can be reflashed , or you have to desolder the main (postage stamp type surface mount) chip and fit a plug in type if you want to do a live rolling round remap etc. i will be doing mine at some stage soon. costs about an extra $100-200 to get the plug type chip fitted to the circuit board the m50b25tu is a it bit easier as the bosch motronic ecu's have a plug in chip to start with. my mate has a e34 525ix touring and we fitted a m52b28 engine into it and it runs perfectly fine on the std 2.5L bosch ecu setup , no issues at all , proforms quite a bit better than the std 525i engine setup so not sure why you are having issues , best to get it checked out make sure you have all the correct parts fitted fro the bosch motronic setup and no vac leaks and every sensor is working correctly etc maybe the 525ix touring would go a bit better if he got it remapped but we where pretty impressed with the proformance power and torque upgrade on the the standard 2.5L ecu setup
  7. stu's trim in manakau . otherwise i have some used ones you could just swap it out with coupe? sedan? sunroof or not??

    E36 keys

most likly not , is the key shaft silver(chrome) then no . if its a gold colour then yes. most cars i see with ews are 96 onwards and some 95's etc
  9. should have some. 021433600
  10. couple of videos from the bmw club track day in taupo in may first time in a while for my car on the track with all the mods and tunning done etc was handy being able to rev to 7000rpm , also decent torque out of the corners preformed quite well. also marty was there with his turbo e28 , but my camera battery went flat so missed filming him from behind was spitting flames at me etc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5_xH5xWvPw...;feature=relmfu another video from my freinds smart phone in HD and turn up the volume e30 m3 ,e30 325is ,2002 , turbo e28 , e28 m5 etc
  11. if its running crappy , first check if everything is hooked up correctly temp sensors the correct way around etc vac leak , vac leak , vac leaks etc etc. bad pcv valve . bad maf (afm) (or dirty sensor from the oil on k&n filters) faulty camshaft sensor etc
  12. as above dont bother with moding the engine. mayeb a manual kit and some suspension and brakes etc or just the a m52b28 and 5spd in out of a 328i or even a 325i m50b25
  13. marty has a trans maybe he can swap bits over http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-465953806.htm or do this http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-455466847.htm
  14. build one of these or just buy this one 4.4L is the way to go or lot more torque and power than the 4L when they are unrestricted. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....=29108&st=0
  15. well done now you have the ultimate unbreakable cup holder cheers good work
  16. sensor wire insulatin breaks up , wires short together and dont always show a fault as its not a open circuit fault. unplug it and check the wires behind the rubber boot at the plug end
  17. like glenn said get it scanned to be sure. cam sensors fail often on these and make it hard to start , also sometimes intermitant fuel pump
  18. bumpers will fit from sedan , coupe etc. rears seats are completly different in teh touring. door mirrors from sedan and compacts will fit (not coupe) front door rubbers same as sedan , door moldings from sedan will fit. suspension from coupe sedan etc will work fine
  19. another video from my freinds smart phone in HD and turn up the volume e30 m3 ,e30 325is ,2002 , turbo e28 , e28 m5 etc
  20. also drivehshaft lengths vary if its from a small or medium case diff . if from a small case diff car like a 316i 318i 320i and fitting to a car with a medium case diff like a 323i 325i and some 320i the driveshaft will need to be shorter . or kit from a 4cyl fitting to a 6cyl will need to be shortend too
  21. sound like headgasket , engine gases are blowing into the coolant system and pressurising the coolant system . if you start it up when cold fill the coolant up run the engine with the rad cap off and if you have bubbles coming up and more so when you rev it up. there's your problem but pay to get it checked properly with TK test and compression test etc there will be a reason why its gone , maybe faulty thermostat , water pump , radiator ,bottle or hoses leaking , faulty viscous fan , or maybe just old gasket with corrsion , is it full of rusty water???
