my mate just fixed up one of these , same spec , nz new was sold to a scrap metal dealer , was sitting ontop of a Nissan previa or something with its wheels removed still had live plates , only issue was timing chain guiges etc all sorted now and back on the road runs great and nice spec -
na my tool wont reset them , maybe a fault in the cluster , might try the wire short out method like I used to use years back

changed the oil and filter on the e28 , did the spark plugs , much smoother now its 530,000km present
