door switch button worn down on the B pillar. replace it with a b piller switch from left side of a sedan (less wear)

just join up the wires near the ignition wiring loom to bypass the alarm wires , pretty straight forward

haha yes I keep a stock of those servo motors and brackets next to the FSR units for this reason

my mate just fixed up one of these , same spec , nz new was sold to a scrap metal dealer , was sitting ontop of a Nissan previa or something with its wheels removed still had live plates , only issue was timing chain guiges etc all sorted now and back on the road runs great and nice spec -
na my tool wont reset them , maybe a fault in the cluster , might try the wire short out method like I used to use years back

changed the oil and filter on the e28 , did the spark plugs , much smoother now its 530,000km present

look for 8 bolts or 6 bolts on the side flanges pic of a 6 bolt below and below that a 8 bolt large case
