  2. + 1 for hilux with 3L diesel. Although Japanese, reliability is something you want in a tower/offroader.
  3. That's what you get for living on the shore but tbh f**k paying for a taxi. Fit 10 of us in my Suzuki carry once, didn't crash either, although couldn't go much faster than 60.
  4. Sold to Toby aka Polax with the minter e28. Cheers!
  5. I was wondering who put her in attack mode, thought it was my friends sitting on their cardboard outside . I'm sure you would've heard me cranking some funky tunes from the X-ray centre.
  6. Pm'd you regarding these. I'm keen if plastic frame is included.
  7. Are they a coupe or a compact? I'd think the coupe's heater/dash is shorter and is probably more space from a different angle of the steering column. The compact is a completely different kettle of fish so unsure of that too. There is no way I'd have been able to get it in without as it was still relatively tight against the column with it broken in 3.
  8. Just saw this now. Will pm contact details now.
  9. You missed my point. The M325i are just a nicely optioned 325i... IMO they are not worth more just because they got called something special out of the factory. Don't get me wrong I would rather an original m325i over an identically modified 325i. If the car is identical in looks and performance you'd be a nutter to pick the more exp one, unless of course you have money to throw around. Just my opinion. I haven't looked at the 318i m3, but if done well, who am I to say its not worth squat because its not a real m3 bro. Remember price is only dictated by the market demand....
  10. You've got your hand deep in the bmw gem pie. Looks good!
  11. Next on the list in replacing the shitty single pipe with a 328's twin catback... extra 50hp right there
  12. My tourings air quality has decreased in volume and also smells like a combination of cow pat & silage, so I decided to replace the cabin air filter. Should be done every year apparently? I went online and found a few websites that helped but all for LHD. After taking a few mental notes I just decided to take a crack at it myself. How to replace Cabin air filter in RHD e36 (excludes compact). Takes 10-15min going slowly. 1. Remove panel under steering wheel. 2. Remove foot well vent by popping plastic pins out of holes. 3. Pull plug holster off steering column and away from blower to help with room for removal and installation. 4. Turn lock anti-clockwise to release and pull on cover to reveal filter element. 5. Push filter element tab to front of car and pull out to remove. (It will be in 3 pieces and will need co-ordination to hold plug holster away for room while you remove). 6. Clean out filter recess in blower as best you can. 7. Break new filter element into 3 pieces and reinstall just like removal. 8. Push tab back towards rear of vehicle to seat properly on foam. 9. Reinstall cover, turning clockwise to secure. 10. Pop holster back onto steering wheel and reinstall foot well vent with plastic pins. 11. Screw cover back onto underdash. Done! Result is crisp clean freer flowing air. Only at a cost of $48.00 from Euro-Italian. Cheers Gav! Here's another pic to show contrast of the old and new:
  13. Oh sh*t! Definitely makes it not worth 7g then! Its got 2.5, manual, lsd, mtech1, sports interior so its the same as m325 , maybe a 325i M then?
  14. Yeah I'm gonna inspect to see if they're shot too once they're off. If so its back to Euro Italian I go!
  15. Chris's, then Ashkan's. A well maintained original m325i is worth every bit of 7000. Looks like the current owner is a douche though, would question current condition judging by Trademe pictures alone.....
  16. They just touch on my brembo/e46 brakes. Come have a test fit in one tree hill if your keen. I have a floor jack and tools.
  17. Cheers Brent. I've got a home built bottle jack press, 3 ton should be alright eh? I guess I won't know the correct dia pipe to use till I've got it out. Will just have to use the lux for the weekend, no matter.
  18. I'm assuming the tools are a pry bar and a press? I'm going to get an alignment done afterwards, there was no point on the shot ones currently installed. Doesn't seem hard, just wondering if anyone has found a good diy way to remove/install the press fit joints into the arms.
  19. Im replacing my outer ball joints this arvo with HD ones. Does anyone have any techniques that'll make the process as painless as possible?
  20. If you do end up sussing skirts from uk i could be keen to split shipping. I also have been searching for skirts for my coupe.
  21. I swear the lead designer of the e36 had a young child with a pastel collection. Those colours suit the shape so well! santorini blue fiji green dakar yellow nom nom
  22. Here's a pic of them on my touring as requested by Seanv.
  23. There is a reason why fibre is half the price.... Invest in genuine if you plan on keeping the car.
