Need to weld some -10 AN fittings onto my m30 oil filter housing. Can anyone advise of a good alloy welder in the central auckland area?

I was hoping to get between 1.7mm and 2.0mm but is 2.0mm unnecessary? Hoping to blow over 20psi through these eventually.

i thought the illegal modification rule stated lowest point of the chassis when measuring the height from ground? wheel & tire dimensions are only measured when the vehicle has a LVV cert, which Heino doesnt have. Which means that he goes to the wof rules regarding height: Read General vehicle page 9-1-5 regarding springs and shock absorbers, and the little statement (2) which states "Does not include such items as exhaust pipes and exterior body panels that do not contribute to the structural strength of the vehicle." www.nzta.govt.nz/resources/virm-in...cert-wof.../gen-9-steering-v4a2.pdf My old e30's sump hanged 70mm from the ground at one point while the chassis rails were still above 100mm, meaning it was within legal limits. I had no problems getting warrants either. One run in the with popo, green sticker regarding height, made me put a copy of the wof rules in the glovebox next time they got cheeky. By now even if you prove them wrong you "still could have modified it after you got the ticket".

Looking for some black silicone joiners for piecing my intercooler piping together. Does anyone know of a good place that doesn't charge through the arse? Also as i have no previous exp at all in this field, is there anything i should or should not do? in terms of clamping/welding? Advice would be appreciated. Cheers guys

Can you do a single euro plate in plain black with silver writing like in tristans sig cept no stickers. Want "HMS E30" in silver with a space in between and a black background. cheers

Im using a e30 m20b25 harness motronic 1.1 will this plug be the same as the e34?

nup, i didnt notice anything out of the ordinary, i think as the thermo malfunctioned the display may have aswell.

So an expensive lesson learnt this week. Replace your thermostat every two weeks otherwise ur sneaky little m43 will seize to f**k. 2200 dollars later ive got a new thermostat!!!! + head skim + gasket + head bolts + water fittings + billions of other things that got changed cos i didnt have time to do it myself. poor e30's feeling left out.....

im not sure if it would as pfl fusebox wiring colours is probably a diff colour to the facelift. and im unsure if the m30 loom is the same colours/pin placement as the m20.

I'm (my sparky) is having trouble with the connection between loom and fusebox in my m30e30. Can anyone help me find the 20 pin layout for a 1989 nz new 325i motronic 1.1 loom - loom side of the plug i also need the 20 pin layout for a 1989 jap 320i with motronic 1.3 - fusebox side of the plug. Im half writing this for Brent but also if anyone else can help that would be awsome. When i say layout i need colours and pin numbers, and im pretty sure i've seen one of these diagrams before but i cant find it now. cheers guys
