Freeview HD is the way to go if you have a full HD TV and are concerned about picture quality. If you have a reasonably high end TV I find the MySky broadcast even on 1,2,3 channels is sh*t compared to a FreeView DTV broadcast. So if we are watching 1,2,3 I switch the TV from Sky to DTV. For computer stuff, I have cables throught he walls & roof to the laptop for instant viewing, or a 1TB network storage HDD and because my TV has wireless I access the media from the Samsung remote. I also have a 64GB flash drive in the back of the TV as an option. Bit hard to see how clear things are as the pics were taken with my phone. I've settled for a Samsung LED TV which is nice and thin. Samsung seem to have one of the best picture qualities especially in the higher end of things.

If it's outright power then the 545i is the one to get but the 530d can still hold their own. Driven several 530d and they are brilliant. Remap them and they are even better!

Awesome how they manage to shift the energy about with computers these days. Had that of been my Commodore it would look like a shotgunned pumpkin.

I think every time I start with what I want, then look at the running costs. All in all, a bad time of year to be shelling out 80k on a car.

I think my VR V8 ute is about that 350nm mark. Depends on the size of the car, the torque on my ute feels quite muscly especially at take off, instant power without rev's 600nm on these is an awesome feeling. Especially when you have 1 ton behind you passing multiple cars as if they aren't there.

I really like the sound of a V8, that's why I have a Commodore ute with a very illegal exhaust which makes the windows shake. But for every day use you just couldn't go past a 335d - one of those remapped would take on just about anything. Visit My Website - that would be awesome sitting in the driveway!

Word. Spend that on something new and it's worth half that in probably less than a year.

Hey Cam. If I won Lotto, there would be a 335d fully optioned as my daily. 610nm remapped to about 700nm just couldn't be ignored. I've driven the 330d (2006 model) and it was brilliant. I have the 320d for towing, it seems and no sh*t, tows better than my V8 ute. My ute hauls ass but as soon as you put a load behind it it throws an anchor out. Our old 320d doesn't seem to make any difference with or without a load.
