I don't think they are 'fully' legal but you can get them in the exact font as the number plates and the same size and in reflective material so cops don't really mind too much but I would keep the original in the car just in case. Also a cheaper upgrade to a europlate

I think I'm just going to keep the mirrors grey but im getting a set of sticker numberplates made for the front thanks for the feedback guys

Here is a better photo of the car in the morning, wheels needs a clean though

Finished vinyling all the car apart from the rear lip which I will do tomorrow but I couldn't wait to drive it after 2.5 weeks of it in the garage! Also made a lip from poly carbonate. Just a low-res photo at night using an Iphone for now...

While the 330 bumper was off for vinyling, decided to duct the carbon CAI into the brake duct and today, decided to put the Works on the 325ci, I've been driving around since the 330 is in the garage and looks pretty good

The black vinyl I was going to go with was no longer available in NZ till October so I scraped that and chose another colour and started again... This time its called "storm grey" I quite like it, more than the black and done this much so far whole right side, bonnet, boot and the other front guard!

Just a little wee update on what I've been doing with the car.. Not that much really, Got a UUC short shifter installed in it by ray and now doing this: Planning to DIY the whole car. Did this on my own and took 3 hours... it is pretty hard without someone holding the vinyl for ya! If any of you guys are experienced please give me a hand and beers would be provided!! or even tips! Also anyone know where I can get 3M 94 tape primer from?
-
^ I wish the S54 headers would just be a bolt on to a M54... but they will not fit.

So glenn... gonna start making some for production? I'm sure some of us members would happily buy some off you!
-
the computer in the car shows 9.5L/100km, bit less due to it being manual?

Hey all, Just came across the problem recently in the e46: When I go to turn on the car, I will turn it through either the 1st or 2nd ignition setting and the car would flash completely off then sometimes it turns right back on and I can start the car but sometimes it will go through the 1st setting and turn completely off like there is no power at all then about 1 minute later I can start it again... It's quite annoying how it resets all my clock times and my trip meter.. Is it my battery is going dead? Yongxi

This is a true BMW fanatics dream garage..

I wonder what that man does for a living to be able to afford a whole garage for storage of his beauts, another yard filled with other classic bmw's for parts. This man knows how to spend his money wisely! Would much rather have this than an Ferrari. -
haha! what were their names?!
