AHJGAJBJLH!GJ!HGJHGH!!!!! I give up. This evening was full of trying to fix electrics. We've fixed all 4 windows and have 3 out of 4 door locks working. However, we are still struggling with the drivers door lock. We got it to a stage where we had it locking but it wouldn't unlock from the drivers door, so we pulled it all out, reseated the spring and put it back together. Then the spring popped out, and now we can't even get it to lock. Suspected problems: - WTF spring, keeps popping out and f**king things. - Central locking motor is on crack. - I am on crack. Somebody help. Found an image on the net. This is how we've been setting the locking spring, but we can't figure why it keeps popping out. (reverse for the right hand side, but you get the idea) If anyones keen I can probably throw you a cashie or box of beer if you make my problem go away. Surely someone must have been through this before! Mayday!

Cool! They look very similar to Buddyclub P1's

Hey buddy, I'm local so if you need an extra pair of hands when it comes to the heavy stuff just flick me a PM. Cheers, Matt

Happy birthday mate

I can smell exhaust fumes when I drive. They make me sleepy.. On the upside. Manji Mania drifting tomorrow.. Wohoo! riding shotgun.
-
I agree. Pref 18's. Still sick though.
-
Ditto - I had a pretty bad dent in my last set of 17's. Brugar sorted it out with no fuss. Prices were reasonable too.
-
And you can run man-sized ride heights too! Haha yeah I do agree guys. But it's like a burger.. and your only looking talking about the mayo.. Theres several other components that come together that make a good burger. IMO to get a good fitting wheel/tyre combo you've got to compromise some tyre width to tuck the wheel under the guards without being left with horrible ride height and/or ugly looking offset. Its all personal preference I guess, and no real right or wrong way.
-
Head to toe? Speed or comfort?
-
I don't see many issues with running 17x10's with +10 offset apart from some inner guard work at the rear and a slight roll (which i think you've already sorted) However, and this is personally speaking.. I'd run 215/45/17's on the 10's and try an tuck an offset of around 0 to -5 for the rear. I think 0 offset at the rear looks a tad weak and it needs a little wider footprint to really bring some presence. Do you have adjustable camber plates on the front btw?
-
Ah not at this stage buddy. I think standard looking clears will look better with the colour I paint it. Who knows!

Oops - Need to learn to read When do you think you'll have the new feet on?
-
Looking good dude. Cant wait to see it with the wheels on! Going any lower?
-
Oh and just an FYI if you hadnt already realised. Your front wheels wont fit without the spacers as they dont clear the front calipers.
-
Hey bud, they'll be slip on spacers. Probably 8mm or 10mm ones with longer studs. Similar to this: Not sure about the cert requirements for slip on spacers. But they probably have to be hubcentric which if your having issues lining them up (I run the same wheels with slip on spacers and I feel your pain!) means they're probably not. And will also most likely be limited in terms of size. Fingers crossed you fly through the cert!

Thats the idea! But no-super wheel skippage. And I want to be able to do U-Turns.. Quietly. But at the same time I dont want a limp-wristed LSD. Looking for a agressive happy medium. haha. Make sense? Yeah, I thought not.
-
Thanks buddy! I cant wait to get the kit on and get it painted! Anyway, I gave in and decided not to run a welded diff this time. Germany 1 Matt 0 I Bought an LSD center. Still waiting on clear front and side repeaters. Still waiting on door pods and rear bumper. Oh, and need a new bonnet. But dont want to pay more than $50 Want to try my hand at a hill climb too.. Who else have people used to modify their factory diff's? /Edit - Just saw this E36. Attn E36 owners your wheels need to fit like this. That is all
-
Why - Primarily better weight distribution (albeit little difference). But also lets face it, batterys arent exactly asthetically pleasing. My SA 325i has the factory battery in the boot and long-range fuel tank thing going on.

LeMons is awesome. I love the penalties. Seems to be a fair number of people interested here in a paddock bash weekend!

sweet yo. PM your details - Must have deleted them. ta

PS - Your stretch "fad" has been around since before 1970's and formula 5000 cars. /Self edited in the interest of keeping this thread on-topic.
