  4. even if it was only done a few months back you never know if it was done using the correct grade oil and genuine filter etc. always good to be sure with this i reckon. im not 100% sure but check online or physically on the back of your unit, there might be rca plugs to connect for aux. i believe the newer headunits have this built in. keep an eye out for any cooling system stuff - i think i remember it as around 14xxxx ks? if it hasnt been done, then it will be due very soon.

    SOLD

if i had the garage space would buy this instantly. not sure why it even ended up on trademe.. someone should have snatched it up quick!
  6. great car for the price. a little bit low in terms of power for my liking but as you said, it would make an excellent to and from work cruiser. and for the price, cant really go wrong! As always, if you dont have a huge amount of money to spend - best thing to do are basic maintenance items if not done recently. most obvious being engine oil and filter. really cant go wrong with doing this. next step is a scan to see any fault codes for any malfnctions or errors that it may have or may have had in the past. then you can spend money on luxury thingys like aux (aux is the cheapest and easiest) or dynavins

  8. agreed. cheapest alternative to basketweaves as long as you have a 5 stud converted e30. plus its 16" and more aggressive offset.

  13. hey dude i bought your old car! would be cool if we could meet up and you tell me what you think about it in its current condition compared to before when you had it - its pretty rough and im sure you will be sad to see it in this state but ill bring it back up to scratch dont worry!
  14. of course it all sounds good on paper all those flashy things but the reality is not all of us are in that position to be spending 100k+ a year on a company card to entertain guests and clients. Im more talking about spending like 10k-20k a year and my goal is to be paying everything off each month in which case the standard visa card not low interest is quite fine. just want to hear more personal experiences about which bank was good which was not which card had too rewards systems etc etc. i remember my old man having a mortgage with bnz and collected heaps of flybuys points which was pretty cool

yea, why go out on real dates when theres camgirls etc?
  16. Just wondering, without things getting too personal and in depth(debt), what bank/credit card type people use? I myself currently have just a standard ASB credit card with 20.95% interest rate on purchases 55 days interest free and a $12 every 6 months card fee. I am about to sign up for true rewards (not sure why I didnt have it in the first place) and saw that I get 1 TR point ($1) per $150 spent. I had a quick look through a few other banks and they all vary slightly and was wondering what others are using to get the most out of their money. I also wonder if its worth the higher annual fees for better rewards such as Visa Platinum at ASB is a $65 per half year at the same interest rate but you get 1 TR per $100 not $150 spent. But theres also another $10 per 6 months TR fee. so thats $65x2 + $10x2 = $150 annual fee compared to the normal Visa which is only $24. A difference of $126 per year. Which i think means, you need to spend $126,000 on your visa platinum to make that difference via TR points. But what normal person is going to spend 100k+ on their credit card? Am I missing something here?
  17. not sure if i can handle a crazy schnauzer puppy and manual at the same time tbh.. lol
  18. haha i see! im just going off from what the internetz have told me but realoem told me i had a hydraulic pulley but actually had a mechanical. its never 100% accurate even with the correct vin number put in the system.
  19. Still going well. I reckon I saved way more than what the app says but its becoming irrelevant. I used to check back on the app a lot but now not so much. Still crave a ciggy now and then but always tell myself no. Becoming easier and easier to deal with so far!
  20. I like style 135s also but they were painted black then curbed and i dont really want to spend a fortune to refurb them. They look great in normal silver but black on purple just didnt work out imo. I bought these bbs rcs for the e36 actually but thats gone now and i like how they look on the e46 so it will stay for now
  21. the most obvious is the special colour that you dont see around normally. basically the car is made to a specific spec by the original buyer and they get a range of "individual" colours to choose from. the most common indv colour is probably estoril blue
  22. lol i guess im disappointing a lot of people with the title.. the cs afaik has bigger cams and a different tune which produces a whopping 10hp more. also has a ugly/unique boot spoiler, door kickplate that says clubsport but my favorite is the lack of sound deadening from the underside of the bonnet for more lolz. but in all honestly, its quite different in my opinion to a normal m-sport. drove back to back against michaels 330i msport sedan and felt my car's steering was heaps lighter, accelerator pedal also more responsive and happier to rev. yes it does need a 3rd pedal but not gonna happen for a long time i think
