^ thanks for that, will look into the things you mentioned. P.s. ours is te avantgarde spec I believe, it has the badge on the side, no idea how to tell otherwise tho... I feel like those who believe a m badge on the back makes it a m sport or a ACS badge makes it ACS even if its a standard 318i or something. Well.. Lots to learn

^as much as i would like a v8 amg merc, the initial price and costs to maintain are too high for me at this stage, not to mention insurance and what not... i dont trust myself in a 4 second car, hur hur hur.. i think its a great car for my dad and its definitely no slouch, goes hard compared to my 330!

so after selling my old mans 99' 528i which served us well for the last 7 years we were initially looking for a newish stationwagon like a e91 or possibly a tidy e46 wagon.. that search proved futile and we went on a search for a decent sized sedan and ended up with this... its a 2005 E350 sedan, 72000 kms, AMG sport bodykit and wheels.. its a really tidy car and my dad is very happy with it.. we were looking at e60s but dad didnt like them and i thought they were not as great as e39s and there wasnt much point changing to another e39 so yea.. its very spacious, comfortable, rides and drives really well, plenty of power from the 3.5L v6 engine, cant really complain except for the fact that its not a BMW!! but yea.. hope i dont get killed for this post, i think its a nice looking car, we bought it with 3 years mechanical warranty so hopefully nothing goes wrong! i think this model is the W211? if anyone here as any knowledge of these cars, im all ears, its our first time buying a mercedes.. anyways here are some pics

All good I have orange indicators on my front and I kind of like it compared to white ones, maybe cuz my car is black? Car looks lovely, needs a drop but nothing major

Looks like a good buy for less than 13k!
-
not sure about track compatibilities, but on the road they are great, currently have them on my 18" on my e46 and rides really well, good grip, no noises, its just a good tyre thats not overly expensive

looks awesome!

Totally understand, if I had the money wouldn't mind buying the lot to on sell the 265s but yeah. And sorry I didn't mean to low ball you, I was calculating that the 235s are cheaper than 265s so just assumed it would be like $200, 200, 300, 300 not 250 each. I probably could fit.. But not sure if I want to, it's only a 330i and I think there will be rubbing on the guards and or inner wall Thanks anyway!
-
If you are keen to sell just the 235/35/19 pair then I'll take them for $400? Let me know if ur okay to split them up... Don't really want to fit 265s on my 19x8.5 wheels otherwise would take the set

bunnings/mitre10/placemakers have one for like $20 or less and they do the job well.. or yea go with the hair dryer

personally prefer the black mags over current but car looks good, glad you took off the spoiler, much cleaner! and LOL i thought your ski/board bag was like a massive reptile sitting on your roof! how much was the car lowered? rolled guards or anything?
-
Contemplating whether to go bmw caps or plain black ones. I've seen that photo of the car before. He did the opposite to me in terms of taillight tints. I like the red and black combination better than black and white! Gonna get the car lowered slightly to lose the massive gaps. Maybe 30-40mm?
-
Not a great photo. Weather wasn't very nice and I was just at work bored haha..
-
has noone else noticed the car behind the e30 in the last pic???!?!
-
plates look lovely.. should have got a set for my e34..... are you going to get clears for sides and rear lights?
-
Just the thrust arm bushings. Aka reaction arm bush.

Apparently the nz s4 comes as a quadcore and not octocore.. Had a look at then s4 and to me felt very plastic and flimsy. I still think the s2 was a well built phone from the galaxy range. If I was to choose would definitely go htc one also.

looking for a newish 3 series wagon, preferably a facelift e46 or a e91. will consider anything but needs to be at least a 325i, not looking for anything lower and no diesels or manuals.

For all you 7 series fan! (LOADS OF PICS!)

my personal opininons on 7ers is that there is very little point to compare it between the models as i think they are made to fit in with the times.. of course the older e23, e32 and e38 now are somewhat classics while the e65 and f01 are more "modern" i think they are all very well designed in their own right. bmws are all great, basically not a single one i hate.. but if i had to choose... the GINA concept car.. wtf was bangle thinking?? i mean its a cool concept but really?? i mean the front "bonnet" opens up like a v_ _ _ _ _..... coincidence with the name gina? me thinks... -
^ totally agree It was just my wishful thinking but I have come to realize that rules are rules and I will abide by them Have taken the wheels off altogether and replaced with another set I have. Better safe than sorry!

prime example of how the little things on a car makes it special! really meticulous work here, basically everything that is neglected on most e36s have been tended too. well done!
