Hi everyone. I have a e34 535i 1992. M30 engine I need to know which size belt I need for the air compressor. It's either 12.5x835 Or 12.5x855 It's only 2cm difference but I don't want to force the 835 on and not be able to get it off. Bmw has the 835 in stock for me to test fit. Otherwise I need to order from Germany

I'd stick with m3... No hate on z4m. I think it looks awesome and I'm sure it's a better car *ahem* but an e46 was my dream car since I was 15... Only problem is now they are hard to find in good condition and now my new dream car is a 2013 M4.. Sigh... But yea only reason if stick with m3 over a z4m is I hate small cars.... But then again that blue z4m... Omg... So good lol. (No helpful input to the thread whatsoever)

Sell both and get some 18" ACS or mparallels or bbs

sad to hear you may have to part with your lovely car, but just an opinion.. if money is short, why not keep the mazda wagon (which i assume is relatively reliable) and sort out your finances first, rather than selling both cars and taking a risk on a new car? once you get sorted maybe you can just buy another car for yourself.. its pretty hard to find decent e39 tourings.. how about the silver one for sale on this forum? the 530i non msport but looks tidy enough and priced reasonably compared to this 525 for $13k.. hope all works out well for you and your family!

At hard ware stores there's a brand called predator I think. Super cheap. Does the job. I might have a makita or Milwaukee one lying around. Will have a look and post up if i find it

i think chrome trim looks strange especially on your car.. its like saying "HEY GUYS THIS IS MY WINDOW!!!!!!" my shadow trim has started to peel and fade.. been thinking of painting it.. plasti dipping it.. vinyling it.. i think i might try out the plasti dip see how that goes..

actually should be a decent car... 2.8L '96 msport model coupe... has vaders (although looks a bit out of place imo).. apart from the wheels , which could be easily sold and replaced with a nice set of 17s or even 18s.. oh.. but $12k? bahahhahaha dreamer..

this was originaly my friends car.. it was pretty much like.. carbon fibre bonnet and boot, the dash guages lol... but it didnt have those fake m3 side grilles or random air spitter parts... and had e39 m5 style wheels, oh but it had m3 front fenders and had to run like 245 front and 225 rear or something it was ridiculous.. and its also had a engine swap to a 2.8L but obviously this seller doesnt have a clue.. saying its been reconditions and s**t... pfft what a load of c**p.... anyways its just a stupid car now with a stupid price.. if it was just stock standard with the cf bonnet and boot it would be *decent*.... stupid car stupid stupid stupid owner stupid everything... argh makes me so mad... edit: oh at one stage, probably the owner before this one, it had under car neon lights that changed colours hahaha and also colour changing angel eye halos hahaha so co0o0o0o0ol

AFAIK there is no such thing as "run flat rims." you can put run flat tyres or normal tyres on any rim as long as size fits. The E90 RFT sensor are incorporated with the brake ABS. It is not on the tire valve nor the wheel itself. you can run the e90 rims on ur e46 with run flat tyres, but it will feel like going from factory 17" wheels to really really heavy 19" wheels.. the extra weight wont be great but hey, ur kind of bulletproof now! imo just sell the rft and pick up some normal tyres
