its not an SMG box... its manual.. has 3 pedals.. and a stick shift... no idea whats going on..

dads selling a 99 528i with screen and steering wheel controls (yay!) for like 5k. had an engine transplant a reconditioned m52, runs mint with heaps of receipts. 18" bbs wheels better looking that style 5s (on e39s anyway, love style 5s on e30s)... anyways this car seems nothing special.. really nothing special at all.. just IMO

a nice looking car and great price! wont last long i think, would make a great buy for anyone looking to upgrade from an e30/e36 good luck with the sale

sorry to hear whats happened.. but whats done is done and luckily there was no accident.. its good of you to find a new tyre to replace it before selling the car! i personally wouldnt bother about $200 or whatever when im selling a car for 10k or whatever, but i guess there is no harm in harassing them a little bit about the safety of the tyre and or their services of taking off/putting on a tyre.. obviously when you buy a set of tyres you dont expect to fork out money for damage when mounting a tyre, nor do you expect it to happen when you take it to a place for wheel balancing, puncture repair or whatever. they should guarantee their work, not be playing the blame game.

$15000 is pretty expensive for a car that's done 150kms and has problems. I'm looking to sell mine possibly for like $13ish it's done 130kms black msport 2002 330i. Not SMG just normal auto/tiptronic gearbox. With the amount of money you would need to spend on it is say it's not worth it. And te average user thinks SMG is better than auto and or manual. Not for us bimmersporters. Just saying.
