^ haha must have been it.. how many of these cars in kerikeri u reckon? haha... but yea, i think ill stick with bmws.. i know it better than any other car and im used to it by now after 10 of them or so... i think a e91 would be my pick all things considered.. except for the fact that its a bit small.. even for a 3 series.. i feel cramped already in my e46 after driving the e34 for a couple weeks... and the e90 line is waaay too tiny... too much luxury (even more so than e46) and all the inside is jam packed of nothingness which still takes up room!! anyways, my search continues.. oh and yea.. the b7 audis look pretty good... the rs4 wagon shape... drool... but not enough coin to buy or to repair..

Didn't even notice and didn't look at e39s carefully enough to even know this existed! Always thought it was weird seeing other people try to out euro plates on e39s by bending the sides

Looks great! Driving home after getting mine done i could really notice the difference between the standard and the carbon. If anyone manages to get a deal I highly recommend the $80 upgrade!

Edit: on a random thought. Does anyone feel that the steering wheel and or hands block too much of the speedo view while driving?? Sometimes when turning, for example, the spoke on the steering and my hand blocks out the indicator light and partially the revs and or speedometer. Random rant//

If its inside a house section then a cover should be okay. Even if its garages should use a cover if you're gone for that long. Can't help with the brand tho!

got it done today, took just over an hour on my e34, it takes about an hour for an older vehicle and about 30 minutes for a new car.. (i think the reason for this is the coating on the glass wears off and the vinyl doesnt stick as well as new glass) anyways, great job once again.. will try get some pics up in a few days

Anything past the guards is "way past" in my humble opinion. I like to look at stanced out cars but afaik if rims are out past guards then it's illegal. I may be wrong dont quote me on this. Looked nicer on the blue car. Will reserve verdict till after camber+drop. Btw is the nz rule for camber -2~3%?

No offense but that just looks silly having the mags stick out way past the guards... Just my opinion. Might look better with crazy camber but then camber wear on tyres not worth it IMO. Just my 2c. I currently have 215s on a 8.5" wheel at it looks stretched enough. 225s on a 10" sounds crazy.. For nz standards anyway. Got nothing on the Japanese stance scene tho

hey guys, im seriously considering a touring to replace my e46 sedan, just wondering what everyones pick is i know there are more options out there but these 4 are probably the ones i would look at. i know the price varies from anywhere for $4000 for the e39 to $40k for a e63.. im probably leaning towards a tidy e46 facelift preferably 330i or 325i at least otherwise a 325i or 335i e91 i do like the spaciousness of a 5er but i probably wont go for the e39 and a e61 is just too expensive.. anyways its a poll so take your pick! sorry no e30/e36 wagons in the poll, but they are great cars! some nice ones on this forum too! cheers kyu some eye candy

it only takes 30 minutes if the boss (seth i think his name is) is doing it.. when i got my e46 done took an hour and a bit with 3 guys going at it.. pretty slow tbh carbon is a good film, more black but i think even the standard one is great, slightly more charcoal coloured. this is what im gonna get for the e34 and ill try to get a side by side comparison photo with it with my e46 with the carbon. with regards to price, if you manage to grab a coupon for $99/119 its a mint deal.. i worked out it costs roughly $60 ish dollars to get a cheap film from supercheap/repco + tools (if you dont have it) + labour, it works out pretty much the same as a DIY but a professional job using 3M film (best!)
