damn it... i hate looking at wonderful e36's like yours... makes me regret ever selling mine and/or not buying another one... edit: just wondering did you have to cut out a piece of the rear bumper to fit the twin pipes?
-
so to sum it all up: e46 > e90 facelift would be ideal diesel > petrol but not necessarily worth the higher price tag $20k would be better spent on a car for say $12k give or take plus maintenance and other mods (and still have some left over for a fridge to sort out the warm piss problem) otherwise wait around for the f10 to drop in price anyways my opinion is you should keep the 320d since its a nice looking car, obviously well cared for, drives well and will probably serve you well for at least a few more years.. you probably wont find anything as powerful unless its a 330/335i or nearly as economic (as your diesel, which i guess does around 900kms to a tank that costs $80 to fill?) and the clencher is you will no longer be "the diesel guy" but just "the 320ie90butmanual guy"

No idea what it's worth. I'll see. Cuz if I sell the e34 then there's no point.
-
^LOL but yea.. Wagon dont need a towbar cuz it has all the extra space! Haha.. Worth a try lol. Do u have towbar to fit my e46??
-
You might think that because the car is so cheap you can afford to fix any problems that come up and still be spending less that what you will pay for a good condition one... This probably won't be the case. The car you are talking about, if I rember correctly is selling just under 6k. 5700 or 5800 or something. It is cheap, but nearing 300kms and being sold by a dealer doesn't sound that good to me. I would rather go for one around $10000 and save the trouble and probably money. But no point in all of us talking about it. Go to the yard and drive it. If it drives nice then maybe you might only have to spend 1-2k and then you will be getting a decent car for $7-8k. Good luck

Could I steal the towbar for the e34??

Auction closes tomorrow It may not be perfect but it's a well looked after car that shouldn't have much more problems Would be nice to go to a member but if not i guess that's how it is Thanks

I don't think I want to use it as well, but my question is, would you say it's "okay" for a while to drive in? I guess it basically risks my safety but I'm sure there must be heaps of people who use incorrect tyres on their cars... Haha doesn't really mean I should knowingly but because I have the tyres I wana know if I can use them or not.

Hi all Is it okay to put on 235 35 19 87Y on my e46 330i sedan? The tyres are Bridgestone potenza re050a with good tread I know the minimum eating is 91y for factory 17" wheels but I don't really have the time to find a new set of tyres right this moment and was wondering if it will be okay to run this for a while. I'm putting on a pair of the same tyres with 91Y and another pair 87Y Can go on front or rear The mags are hamann. Afaik these are light weight? Thanks

Notice of person selling/disposing of motor vehicle form (MR13A) didnt fill out one of these?
-
when you sell a car, you also fill out a form called something like "notice by person selling vehicle". this is basically to show that you have sold the car, with the new owners name address and date of sale and you just pop it in the post box. this protects any issues further down the track with the new owner not registering it under his name until hes racked up a few speed camera tickets, parking tickets, stolen petrol what not. ive had people who didnt register the car i sold them until a few months later but because i filled out that little form it saved my ass. hope it works out for u anyway
-
BUMP! dont want to sell but here it is for $4000, if it doesnt go soon I will just hold onto it. and e46 not for sale anymore, will be keeping this too
-
how about my 330i? relatively low kms, ive looked after it really well and its in superb condition.. only think is im after a little bit more than 9.5k..
-
i am using 10-30 fully synthetic castrol edge in my e34 m30b35 (just becasuse i have it at home and use it for the other cars) but ive been told its okay to use, 10-40 is okay too, and you can go semi synthetic or fully synthetic. no such thing as "right" oil, but those two oil grades are safe to use without problems
-
I'm no expert but my 330 which is a m54b30 is not much different to the b25 id imagine. I get about 450-500km per tank and 550-600 on trips.
