Thanks! I'm really happy with it. It's such a reliable car. Just a good daily driver.
  3. ^ sounds like a perfect candidate to own an m5!! Good luck for your search
  4. Just a note: if you don't want to fork out $80 for 3M carbon then stick with the first one. The second level one is rubbish. Magnetized film which is no good. And don't bother with the highest level one either. Not any better than carbon and $120 extra. So either stick with basic or go with carbon. (Friend used to work for car folie)
  5. I totally agree with you on this point. A 528/530 is a perfectly balanced car that will do it's job well. And sure an m5 wouldnt be used to full potential and that's just sad.
  6. How about a e34 shell with m3 engine. Shell would be cheap enough. And sth different to chucking a turbo on it. (Something I've been thinking of for my car)
  7. Keep looking for an m5.. I don't think you would be happy settling for an m3.. And same story applies, can't find a mint one. All that's for sale are rough high km examples. How about making your own? Haha source an engine and stick it into the 528 u have. Sleeper status
  8. http://m.autotrader.co.nz/used-cars-for-sa...c/bmw-m5/449499 Only one I could find
  9. Just a heads up for anyone. Gonna get one myself for my new car and thought others might be interested. Save a fair bit of money for a good job done, they did a great job on my other cars in the past.

I think he was referring to my e46 for those mags. But yea. Got some hamann ones. Pictures in another thread Thanks Alex! They look pretty decent tho. Maybe the guy who got the wheels stolen today could buy them!
  11. Only takes less than 5 minutes with 2 people...
  12. Damn it! It looked so mint on those csl wheels! Sorry for your loss...

What's the diff between a sunroof and a moonroof...? Edit: nvm quick google gave me the answer.
  17. Nice car! Looks really mint. Of course factory wheels look good.. But I think the black ones look great as well. Goes well with the blue. Both looks really good actually. Hard to decide which I like better... Maybe unpainted..? No. I think I like both equally haha...

    FS: E39 528i 1999

Hi. Thought id quickly list this. It's my dads daily driver since like 10 years ago or something. E39 Sedan 528i m52 2.8L engine. 1999 non Motorsport. It has around 210kms on the clock but has had a secondhand reconditioned engine put in a few years ago. Well run in and going super strong. Have done a lot of work over the years. Most recently front shocks, oil and filter service, etc. water pump, air con, suspension work all done, brake fluid, new brake lines all done brake rotors and pads done. Have receipts for nearly all work. Only thinking of selling to upgrade but being used daily. No hurry to sell. Not sure what its worth. Owes us a lot of money but market value probably puts it around the 5k give or take for a not as tidy example. This one has leather comfort seats with heating. Factory 3:4 TV working, everything working as it should no faults whatsoever. It has had a rear bumper ding repaired but not so well. Still looks fine. Has factory tow bar but not used for boats. Mainly used for light trailer usage. Windows tinted, has rear automatic blinds no sunroof. Has BBS 18" wheels in black with 2 eagle f1 and 2 toyo proxes. All good tread. 5mm+. Basically nothing has to be done on this car. Rides comfortably and smoothly. With good power and acceleration. Let's put the price as $6000 Ono for now. Here is a picture from my phone. Will take proper ones later.
  19. I have a 1999 528i for sale. Silver. Heaps of work done no issues now. My old mans car but could let it go for an upgrade. Had it for a million years. Let me know if u want more details and pics. Car is in Auckland.

  21. Nothing much to add but if you're not fussed about power then why not 116 or 118 auto petrol? If you want some power the a 120d would be the way to go albeit price.. You can find some cheapies around 20k or even less for the 116/118 petrol ones in a 2007 ish.. Just seems a bit of a waste when u can buy like a 325 wagon for not much more if u were to spend 30k on a 2009 model
  22. Wish I could. Haha... Good luck. What did u find?
  23. $8k hehehe... Nah but seriously... I would love to buy this. But I have no money
