http://www.bridgestonetyrecentre.co.nz/promotions/current-offer/ call your local bridgestone store and ask for a quote. its buy 3 get 1 free. See if they will do it for 2 pairs or sizes otherwise you might want to find a twin to go half half and order 4 fronts and 4 rears

what I did was just cut open the housing and replaced the battery and glued it back together. I imagine if you buy a new housing then you just transfer the internals over with a new battery and should be all good. Cant help with ebay recommendations though sorry.

my only complaint about the e87 130i is probably the hard suspension (for daily duties around town) and the poor fuel economy. everything else it is excellent!

Had to replace the intake pipe and do an oil change on my 116i the other day. Both things I could do easily. oil $50 filter $20 pipe $100 2 hours work ish i got lazy and took it into a shop and paid $490. $240 for oil and filter and $250 for pipe fitted. It’s not cheap nor expensive but it saved me a lot of hassle. Just drop off and pick up and know that it’s done instead of mucking around with dirty oil and re fitting a million screws and clips. I’m okay with it.

problem is a lot of places charge an arm and a leg for parts that could be bought for much cheaper overseas/elsewhere but then they wont allow you to supply the parts. only certain type of workshops allow that and usually those places cannot stamp the books for mech warranty. so build a relationship with a garage. there are heaps of good ones. your car being quite new and not too problematic I would say just get it serviced as necessary (this is open to interpretation - according to the computer a service is due every 25000kms or so, I think oil needs to be changed every 10,000kms on the 116i at least) and make sure you satisfy the requirements for the mech warranty incase of major failure. I personally would have put the $1550 you spent on the warranty in a savings account and/or used it to fix/do maintenance but its a bit late now

I have bluetooth music/calling and NZ radio on my 116i japanese import but no GPS maps do you have photo of your car interior? is it standard spec or sport or msport spec? there are lots of different version of options. my 116 is a high spec sports model

I also have a F20 116i, 2012 with over 105,000kms now. These cars are pretty good, you dont have a lot to worry about, just get oil and filter service done AT LEAST every 10,000kms at the latest. That is the biggest and easiest thing to keep in mind to make sure your engine stays in good condition. Make sure you get it changed with genuine filter and good quality good brand engine oil (5W30 grade) There is heaps of modifications you can do to make this car fast but then your warranty will be declined so better not do anything haha

I really hope you didnt pay almost $20k on an E87. Do you mean you got an F20 116i?
