Small update: And we have progress, new rear subframe is being rust-killed and painted (just waiting for paint to dry ) Bonnet is off, ready for engine removal. Car in the process of being jacked up off front right chassis member (my sills are crazy bent!) and back wheel is an inch off the ground! I love how stiff these cars are Next up: remove radiator and all ancillaries prior to organising an engine crane and doing the swap

At dominos they pay a full wage the whole time you work, and then add on a petrol re-imbursement for each delivery you take.. so not really

Driving for dominos is good fun, and easy... plus you get to keep tips Dunno what theyre like in Hams, but down here they tend to tip well

Gutted as, just wondering... was your car "deadlocked"? ie. key turned sideways in the drivers door? This handy feature saved our old E36 once before, they smashed the rear quarter window, then ran off pissed off as cos they couldnt get the doors open... too lazy to smash more windows it seems...

I have AA membership, and last time i priced up a quote on the State website their roadside assistance added $150ish to the bill I think i'll stick with my $70ish for the super-dooper AA-Plus, which will cover me if i ever need a tow for the motorbike too
