Wow, sounds like i got lucky in mine... cops decided it was an accidtn and wrote me up $150 for "Failing to stop short of another vehicle" but no court or anything, good luck with it tho, i'm sure they wont throw the book at you cos clearly it was an unfortunate accident.

Flammable gases are left hand thread, the inert gases - argon, argoshield and the like - are generally standard right hand thread... Or thats what they told us at tech lol

Both my race-car and the suby (twin-turbo, 19year old driver ) are with NAC, theyre the only one that would take me..

I've never had any premium increases for "modifications" on any of my cars, but my current two are both with NAC so im already paying a fortune... As far as it goes, i dont see why they would charge you extra for the modification unless you want it to add value to the vehicle... isnt that the way it normally goes?

The reason motorsport helmets must meet higher standards than motorcycle helmets is that a standard road helmet is designed for an impact at not more than 100kph, whereas on a trackday in a car you could be doing well in excess of that, so for safety reasons i personally would go for one that at least meets club racing standards... in saying that, mine is an $80 one of trademe which meets the aussie standard, but is still a cheapy

I always drive with the fronts on, whenever i have my headlights on too... What annoys me more is the people who refuse to turn theire headlights on until visibility is just over 100m, hence fully within the law... but you still cant see them! Those people that truely believe the sole purpose of headlights is so that they can see where they are going, rather than being considerate and using them so that others can see their vehicle...

Have to say 4-door, the coupes... well the doors look like they are way too long, and then nothing after them? It just doesnt fit... or at least noot oon E30s, maybe E36s...

Was that a 250km drive? or a 250km drive in each direction, as in 500kms? If the latter than i'd say thats not too bad, i averaged just over 10l/100km in my Manual PFL 320i...

I get this too, having not replaced my headliner on the Race car, on a cold day there will be a skin of condensation across the inside of the roof, which fortunately like yours is coated in rust-kill. Sounds like rusty sunroofs are very common on these... Good work getting it out nice and clean, mine involved a lot of use uf a cut-off wheel and angle grinder

There's gonna be a lot os sh** hitting the fan the second a high class executive gets his commodore crushed for doing something stupid, and decides to try and start legal proceedings or whatever... This term "boy-racer" has always confused me, as around where i live the most trouble comes form older, middle-aged men trying to hard on the roads, and not knowing how to handle their car when it does go wrong... eg all those that roll ther exec-mobiles on paekok hill road..

Haha, speaking of that... the majority of my school signed a petitiona gainst dumping a dangerous chemical, which could possibly kill much of the wildlife in a local river... that chemical was dihydrogen monoxide... it just so happened that the petition was passed around on April the 1st. We all learnt a lesson that day!
