Would it not depend on the structure of the building as to wether or not an impact such as a plane would have caused it to fall either straight down or otherwise? Do you know how the building was structured? If you don't then all i can say is this is pure speculation. It is entirely possible that because of the way the building was constructed, when subjected to a large force in such a direction it simply collapses straight down. It is even possible the building was designed this way, so that if ever it was placed under extreme stress it would not cause mass damage to surrounding buildings.

This whole fighting for oil thing confuses me... In the fighting they actually ended up destroying, or causing the destruction of thousands of barrels of oil!! And if anyone actually knows how it works over there would know a lot of it is already reasonably well under Americas control. Case in point, Chevron (gigantic American oil company) is the ONLY foreign oil company allowed to operate in Kuwait. No-one else is allowed to even think about opening up shop.

Umm... i'd just like to point out that this whole thing sparked the war in afghanistan, not Irag. maybe no-one remembers this? And the people supposedly to blame for the attacks had been intimidating/killing/destroying their own civilisation as well. Maybe it wasn't the US's place to step in, but then again maybe it was? It couldve all ended up a lot worse if you ask me. As for any government killing thousands of IT"S OWN people? They are human too, and theyd have to get a hellova a lot of total hard-asses to be able to come up with a plan like that. I know i could never do it, for anything. I would have to agree that this ^^ line of thinking fits the series quite well, as its about good, cheap,, and even racing isnt it? So if no-one has any secrets then the best man wins, not the biggest wallet/cleverest engineer Looks very cool, especially that airbox! makes mine look extra rangi lol

besides, it specifically warns against using any for of oil additive in the bmw owners manual, didnt stop me using stop-smoke in mine lol, but it didnt work either

It's a 10year rule AFAIK, so this year anything older than 1999 isnt allowed, but in a couple of month it'll have to be newer than 2000 or else wont be allowed in...

Hey guys, u may or may not know that my poor little E30s engine is currently pouring out smoke like a house on fire, so i'm looking for a replacement. I'm not particularly interested in upgrading to the later model Motronic system, all i want to do is rip my engine out and shove a new one in, so all i'm after is: A Jetronic M20B20 from a Prefacelift E30 Just the engine will do, dont need loom, ECU, radiator etc as mine are all fine. Would prefer local, but chances of that are low.. Does anyone have any cheap?

Yeah, a 350chev wouldnt work at all... (wrong team ) but it is intended for the race series eventually, maybe 2 seasons away now I thought a second hand engine would be best for now, as it means i can still use the car whilst i build up a race engine, and surely 2 engines are better than 1? Hopefully coming in the next 2ish weeks, new engine and full engine swap cant wait!

Ok, poured nearly an entire bottle of Nulon StopSmoke into the engine today and.... nothing Still pours out smoke, except now it starts from 2,500-3,000rpm instead of 2,000... still not good tho Beginning to look like im gonna have to replace the engine, and then maybe rebuild it as a race motor... just need to find some cash to buy a replacement with, and an engine stand, engine crane and some more tools

Yeah, i get that a lot... my road car - Subaru Legacy RS - is much quicker than my E30 racecar, and everyone is continually telling me i should race that instead. But they dont seem to realise that would require caging it, and finding some series to race it in! The BMW is a racecar, sure, but it's still slow compared to most modern roadcars, and even all my mates cars. But it can be driven on a track, in a race event, so its still better

I did the level 3 Certificate in Motor Industry (introductory motorsport) at WINTEC last year, was a good fun course. Used it to build my E30 racer. But i can see one based at a track being far better, as there wasnt much actual involvement in motorsport with the WINTEC one..

Pretty sure its a case where if the vehicle behind overtook legally, then you would be at fault... unfortunately you have right of way only in a situation where there are no following vehicles/the following vehicles are also turning/the turning vehicle is completely blocking the lane

I got my 87 320i with an immaculate interior, only 23000kms, 3 months WoF, 6 months Rego, and only a little rust in the door/under the windscreen and a leaky sunroof holding it back for... $1200 hence why i figured a little 318 carbd etc wouldnt be worth much
