I say keep it standard...don't see many about these days. If parts availability is an issue for something particular, for all means upgrade to suit. Just my 2c.

^ 195k is just run in, mine has done 310thou and goes real good. If it has been well maintained it is worth the risk. Consumables on these motors are cheap as chips if anything goes wrong.

For the inside wing mirror interior trims, just use trim tape to stick them there, I have had two mint ubroken pairs, both are broken now, shitty 25 year old plastic.

Maybe Sam might want it as a spare? /if it is the same wheel, he would know. Too bad it wouldn't fit in a E30 spare wheel well.

If it was my car, clears, leather interior, BBS spoked wheels, remove jap plate holder, service and tune up. Then just enjoy driving it. Having an unreliable BMW is not fun I can tell you that for free haha. Looks like a nice car, keep it that way. PM'd also.

The better option would have been me not stacking my calypso e30, waiting till you crashed the 540i, I buy the motor off you + manual box = best of both worlds

There is only about 11 (ish) E30 318is's in New Zealand...is it NZ New? On the other hand there are tons of E30 325i's Low Supply = High Price can be charged as a derivative of demand. f**k yeah High School Economics.

How do you manage to do that in a 520i Auto Shame about the car though, never nice to see a members car destroyed. I know the feeling, least it wasn't your own car that was pwned.
