dont think it is..tc and no lsd
-
not to mention O2 sensors, much more advanced mapping, refined intake systems etc etc etc...i will be able to give real world comparisons soon. Its the ONLY aspect of the 535 I dont like
-
I have heard this too,but they seem to manage with the M cars
-
must be pretty bad frontal damage if you also need a rear bumper! ...hope you find what you are lookin for, iconic cars
-
for reasons known to BMW they seemed to stop fitting LSD with the advent of traction control..my 1990 535 has a lsd,and no traction control
-
the first(and current) owners are locals
-
you would think a car trailer would be best to have that setup anyway
-
so the "old" couplings and balls are 2 inch and new installations and presumably all hire trailers are 1 7/8.?Are 2 inch ones illegall now?
-
540 would be better, but factor in higher purchase prices and higher maintenance.34 l per 100 ks very possible i have had mine of the gauge ie accellerating up hill.M30 is OLD engine,540 also has much higher gearing.535 probably a slightly better balanced cardont think the nikasil issue was a problem here?

Have been told that Southland Motor Group is the place to go.Comments?Any other BMW mechs down there?
-
not a done deal yet,he wouldnt let RVT drive it,and i have to get it checked out.He has also moved back to Invercargill so wont be able to complete till he has settled in back down there.Unless it is completely different than the pics and or there is something pretty serious repairs needed its all go,and the E34 will go.I have mixed feelings about that. You picked me a bloody good car there mate!
-
this was the black one wasnt it....i have my mitts on another,if it all checks out its MINE MUHIAHAHAHA
-
what happens if you have a/c off then hit the recirc button...i think you can still cycle the a/c buttton for any combination.I think the a/c light goes off on mine but in actual fact if the a/c was on when you hit the button the a/c stays on.If I hit the recirc button with a/c off the a/c comes on.(I think that what happens!)
-
yes but people wont even bother unless you give them some idea of what you are after.
-
stripped e 28 will be quite light aprt from the big chunk of cast iron in the front!
-
on my e 34 recirc turns on a/c too.You can then turn a/c off
-
i could have a set of 4 17x8.5 basketweaves with the big dish,15mm offset 72.5 hub.....Depends if they go with the 5 or not. They cost me 1100 with 1/2 worn tyres. They wont have any tyres with em,or if they do i doubt they would get a warrant,2 might

I go the local garage and ask nicely,They have always said yes.

Help with Power Sources in dash etc
kiwi535 replied to camera doctor's topic in Audio & In Car Entertainment
in the e34 there is a power supply to the glovebox for a rechargeable torch...maybe the e39 as well? -
98 probably a waste...M30 not that high compression and does not have hardware or software to take advantage of the higher octane and advance ignition.

300,000th BMW 'M' car has just rolled off the production line marking, on, the 30th anniversary of the M-division
-
as a manual they are incredibly flexible, you could use third all day, even take off(bloody hard on the clutch though). Its the torque that attracts me
-
unforgiveable....bimmer nut who cant identify BMW most important cars.... tsk tskI am going to say the M535 should be in there too? E12?
-
e 90 m3 feels awesome,but somehow the thought of a e39 m5 is right for a five fan
-
yes my thoughts exactly
