it also depends on the type of driving you do....stop start driving is terrible and if thats the sort of driving you do then a small manual would be best imo(if economy is king otherwise a small auto).A diesel would be better again as they are more efficient and dont seem to suffer from stop-idle- start as much as petrol engines

yep the takas are very busy most times now, lots of passing lanes deleted, double yellows the whole way many many intimidated drivers and a few selfish ones makes for a boring trip even on a bike

I am sure this is not news for most wellington people. if i have to go north(and am by my self) i will go north to levin then to shannon, and north to just east of manawatu gorge, ashurst, colyton, chelttenham, vinegar hill,...if i have less time pressure the first lap will be through the rapa turn left woodville, carry on from ashhurst...the takas arent what they used to be tho.....

i reckon the public would be even more incensed with 100 000 dollar holdens than so called 200 000 BMWs.i wish people would just live there own lives.....all the media hype about celebrities and "human interest stories" make me vomit.if people took half as much interest in their immediate circle of influence/interest we would all be much better off.

The 520 may be a bit underwhelming. The e39 is a heavyish car...heavy cars, auto trans and small engines are not a good mix in Wellington. -
e 34 rhd mats also NLA.You can get good ones from the UK for quite a good price but the postage kills it.I was gonna get auto dec to do some,do they have allowance for retainers?

i wouldnt be surprised if the v12 was almost exactly the same fuel economy on the open road than the v8,they are torque monsters

whats the easiest way to bump the compression on a e34 engine?

it will be different but it will still be BMW (and good). One only has to drive one of the newer diesels to realise that BMW very surely have the turbo concept well in grasp. I may have to grab a BMW v8 while i still can.
