Cold chisel, weld, etc all may work. Can use a centre punch to make a couple of decent marks on the outside of the face of the nut, then whack it around with another punch. Will - I have used two types o easy outs - one have the left-hand tapered thread as you talk about - there are another kind which are almost square with the edges sharpened also tapered that you hammer in and the edges cut into the sides of the hole you have drilled - both work well. As the hole has been started you could drill out the middle of the stud/locknut and use easy-outs.

No problem re delivery - If you covered the actual transport costs I'd happily deliver it to a transport co. and ship it to you, or if you covered gas and transport back up north I'd happily drive it down for you. It knows when the alarm fob is near the ignition and disables the immobiliser so you don't have to press the button just before you start it like the 4-star alarm.

Oh I get you now - I had some made at a signwriters out of vinyl - They worked out at $10 each for 4. They use their computer and make a white circle then overlay it with black and blue vinyl cut-outs - lasts forever and cheap as.
