Not really sam. There are plenty of euros other than bimmers and they lack a good forum. Forums like luxury rollers lack the credibility IMO to get off the ground properly and will always be something of a boy-racer style "car club" forum. I reckon if eurosport slimmed down and simplified so that the posts were more concentrated in fewer topics, then it would look busier. Give it a year or 3 to gain critical mass, and then the owners of both sites could talk about a joint venture. Think synergy. Combined meets as well as individual ones, friendly rivalry, shared sponsors and advertisers. Rivalling motorsport entrants or just differing classes. Then buy a magazine or create a new one - its time NZ had a proper performance-euro magazine like Performance BMW. Eventually somewhere like Bavarian could be purchased (start greasing them up Pam) and the brand would get alot of business through its motorsport reputation (providing of course it manages to get one). think big.

Gary - get the towing eye. Andy, I may be keen on the rear bumper trim. I'll let you know.

Damn cool. Nice single finger salute.

Yeah works quite well. Went to an 18th of one of my sisters friends in the weekend that was this format. There were 300 there and they made well over a grand after paying for a small amount of damage.

I use river water that is high in iron, so I'm actually strengthening my block over time...

I use a decent brand concentrate and mix it to the spec as listed in my bentley manual. I imagine that's OK, but just chucking anything will probably have adetrimental effect over time. As long as the genuine stuff isn't ridiculously priced I wouldn't sweat it. By the way, please don't write everything in capitals - it is the internet equivalent of shouting. Chur.

I understand if you buy them in sets of two (i.e. two sets at a time) it is cheaper per set, so if anyone is getting a set soonish let me know and I'll group buy with you. Emma, buy a good brand (like 3M) of foam double sided tape (sometimes called automotive trim tape)and it'll last ages. My 320 had the plates taped on like that for 18months before i sold it and they still were stuck fast when given a light test pull by the prospective buyer.

Badass and different - I like it - so chunky - corolla's look like shoes on wheels, thats more like a Nike Air Jordan Pump, got some air, badassness sneaker than a shoe. In fact the chunkyness is kind of sneaker-esque.

Something organised with a small gate charge (like $10) and security and music in the padoock would be the go. Unfortunately that would mean no booze, or expensive booze. Up here lots of teenagers hire out places like farms or stockyards, throw 40 parents on as security, hire a DJ, charge everyone $10 plus BYO booze and they go hard and usually make a profit. Something along those lines would be the ticket... Pity it wouldn't work on an "official" party.

The Paddock party has been cancelled by the police this year. (Admittedly it was getting out of control). Anyone know what is happening instead? Used to be one awesome, kickarse party (back in the day before some dickheads ruined it) so there must be something happening...

Plus, most good tyre places replace your valves when they fit new tyres - wonder if those valves cost extra as they won't be conventional that's for sure!

No employer will ever want to know how you did in your exams - only "achieving" counts. It is more important to set the standard high for your own benefit so its natural later on. You don't usually see anyone who scraped through on "achieved" get Honours or Masters at uni (odd exception to the rule of course). That's where it does count as those letters DO follow you everywhere. Obviously if you chose a career path that does not involve uni - and I recommend you look around as there are some great careers that don't - then the letters mean diddly squat. Also, once you have been in the workforce awhile, it is your track record and CPD (Continuing Professional Development) that matters. My industry tracks CPD point which I register online whenever I earn them. I can then use them towards things like accreditation etc, or as a bargaining tool at pay review time. My A bursary is about as useful as a condom made from fishing net. However, it did mean I didn't have to do the basic English and Math papers at uni, and over-achieving at uni put me on a higher pay rate when I started work and set me up with the right work ethic. This is where NCEA falls over as it is not competitive enough to encourage over-achieving. I view it as a soft system that rewards mediocrity. Bravomikewhiskey BSurv (Hons) ANZIS

NCEA is the gayness. Watch the impending decline of our workforce. Plus to pass NCEA you have to be at school almost all the time so you don't miss assessments. Smart f**kers like me used to be able to turn up a couple of times a week to get the notes and still get an A bursary.

Has been broken (at least for me it has) since the new forum software was installed the very first time months ago. Was waiting for the updates to finish in case it fixed itself, but it hasn't. Pain in the arse to copy and paste to notepad every PM I send. Need to keep them as its often hard to remember what was agreed re: part purchases etc a week or so later when the PM was never saved. Any chance of fixing this? Received PM's save fine. Yes I have the save sent PM's option ticked in my control panel.

Ryan? Will still has your old ones locked away in the dark where they can't get any ideas about sneaking out into the light of day.

I thought about buying that 5'er but was a tad pricey at the time. Nice ride. Like the deep dish wheels you want to put on but can only wonder if 20's will ruin it. 18's-19's are way big enough to look huge and won't f**k up the ride/handling so much. Otherwise sweet.

Damn I was trying to be different by ditching it myself, now I'll have to track down the www......

Nzherald I doubt they will sell at that price, but if they do, and they are robust/reliable, then I'd definately get one.

Jazz - was it the one that they did blue??? Looked alot like Duncans old car when it was done.
-
Clean looking car - good stuff.
-
That'd do me nicely - adn this from a person who thinks cell phones should be as basic as possible - I'd rock one of those. Cover flip in the music section pwns me, and the segment from the US office in the video demo rofls me.
