More proof that it's impossible to modify an e30 without removing the bumper at least once! Those sky sails rock - seen them before. I'd be interested to see what size/speed pleasure craft they'd go on considering that most small, modern, powered vessels move faster than the wind. Lots of shipping companies playing with different methods of wind bludging now-a-days. How does the card not move with that cutter?

I've seen two in nz that I would have to say "no". One had a lexus v8 in it and a power bulge in the bonnet to allow it to fit. The other was turbo. It was between one of these and an MR2 for the missus to daily. Went with the mr2. But we looked at some decent mx-5s. Our criteria was that it had to have a removeable hardtop. Didn't see anything that we thought was decent at the 2-3.5k mark. $6-8k seemed to get a good one though.

That'll do lads.

I'm after a clock and stopwatch that is lit at night. Was looking online for something and all of a sudden thought about my e30 OBC which has a clock, and timer function. Anyone got an old OBC that has clock and timer that they want to offload for fairly cheap? It's for the Bay of Islands Coastguard boat, so you'd be helping out a worthy cause, and getting some BMW gear on our boat - w00t! Cheers.

Might be keen for some pre-drinks but will have to miss the gig. Flight in the morning just too early and have to be able to drive myself to the airport sober. Someone PM me details of pre-drinks location.

General fundraising for gear, operating costs, etc. Got alot of stuff that's getting old and needs replacing.

Still going fairly cheap. Bid and support Coastguard. If a BS member buys, I may be able to assist with free transport to Auckland and surrounds. Click image for TM auction

Use Nylock nuts available from any engineering shop, and some decent hardware stores. Only use once.

You could do everything apart from the gauges very simply. Just modify the game steering, pedal and shifter controls to fit in the e30 interior. All the computer wizardry is to make the gauges etc work.

Oh damn, there go the scary motorway braking manoeuvres... Srsly - good stuff Heath - now you can go faster.

Been Certed for over a year, and been running fine since January last year when it spent a day and a half on Gavins dyno. So, yeah it is. PM if you want to know more.

It's been updated since then. Now uses e30 gauges and even the OBC works! On R3v as Mike said.

Would consider a swap for mine? Wouldn't mind doing a touring re-power with the rest of the work already done.

Careful Nathan or I'll post up your 2mins of fame...!

Alternative Apparel for an alternative lifestyle? Thats almost as good as the Bunnings man. Gus still wins for Woman's Day though.

Spotted an X5 in Kerikeri over easter. STRAT I - three guesses who this is.

Now we're talking. FTMFW. Definitely 1 of the top 5 projects ever.

vert, cabrio, cabbie, drop-top. Just slang, easy to say/type word for a soft-top model. Not sure what BMW call them. Probably cabriolet.

I need a bigger house. Help me out by buying my rental property in Paihia. Perfect holiday house with room to park the boat. 5mins from boat ramp, and the Bay of Islands best beach, cafe's, restaurants, etc. Best value property in Paihia based on my research. Purposely priced below anything comparable as I'm realistic and don't want to spend months on the market. Special deal available to BS members. PM me for details. TM link

Peanut butter? I'm guessing since it has oil in it? Use silicone spray. $10 from Repco/BP. If they are not the unpainted plastic ones, the BMW colour sticker is usually on the passenger side shock tower as said. Will possibly be in German unless your car was an import from and English-speaking country, or Japan.

Should be right now. I think it has something to do with the Auto DST settings (maybe the software provider hasn't got the latest dates for NZDST which as you know changed twice over the last few years). Post in here if it changes again so we can re-apply the correction.
