What are those seats? They are the first buckets that I've seen I actually like the look of in an e30.

Nice wee project. Just one comment - the boot is probably a little large an enclosure for that sub. You'd be better off puilding an MDF partition with a volume calculated from the subs thiele small paramters. Better yet, a properly sealed box. You could still have the sub firing through the ski hole, and you could carpet the visible side of the enclosure to appear as a fake rear wall - stealth styles.

Not sure of the legality, but I find it hard enough to sell $10 Coastguard raffle tickets when the money goes to a good cause, and the prize is a brand new Ford explorer and boat package valued at $200k, and second and third prizes also vehicle/boat packages. You run the risk of not selling enough tickes, but still are obligated to do the draw and give your car away. Novel idea though - I like it.

Not defending 42 below as I don't know the product, but the allergic reactions are probably due to idiots drinking the flavoured vodkas that are allergic to those ingredients as they are real, not fake flavouring like most. For instance, my GF is allergic to honey. Drinking 42 below manuka would cause a reaction. It seems to get rave international reviews, wins competitions and is a well-polished export product we should be proud of earning us export dollars.

What is involved in updating the software for NZ spec (as I understand this is what you must do for it to work best in NZ.)

There are around 5 different shades of diamantschwartz ranging from quite grey to very black - you need to get it mixed to match your paint.

Would be better if it was possible without it being setup previously. You wouldn't be able to see the empty space from the point where the skid starts. Even if you could, not at that speed. Otherwise - badass.

The guy who set it up put up a thread on here a year or so ago under the pretense of being just a member who had stumbled across it. Funny how it was his first eve post though! There are twice as many cars on there now I see, but still not exactly busy.

Those ones on TM look to be quite well made - equal length etc. No idea of value though.

$250 for 2GB plus need to spend another $50 to buy a decent case so it can withstand knocks. As much as it would be the ideal, it is too expensive. I would normally only be spending about $50 on this person, so I'm stretching as it is.

I want to buy a 1GB mp3 player as a xmas present. It has to be basic and tuff as the recipient will want to take it running, cycling, to work, whatever and so must be strong/rugged design, and small/lightweight. Only needs a monochrome screen to display track/artist whatever - no large colour screens as it will only get broken eventually. Battery life, ease of use, size and ruggedness important factors Features, styling, memory space over 1GB, etc NOT factors What are my options? I don't want to spend alot of money. If I can't get something decent for less then $100 I'll get something else. I know this limits me to something from the Trademe bin, but hoping someone here has one that they can vouch for. Cheers
