  1. OK - who is that guy? Real life Borat?
  2. Ball'n'. Never noticed the fuel cap before.
  3. Irrespective of the speculation as to where the money was spent, the guy is still a crook. If someone breaks into your car, most of you comment that you'd like to break their legs (or similar exaggerated claim of violence). And that's just for a few hundred/thousand dollars worth of damage/theft. Imagine how the victims feel. The guy's a dirty thief. He's admitted it. The details don't matter with regard to the fact he's still scum and deserves to be treated like it. I feel sorry for his family who it seems had absolutely no clue and who are going to have quite a tumultuous time. The wife must be beside herself.
  4. I like this. Might have to implement at work.
  5. Fair enough. Called my call.

Unlikely to be a late one Sunday (early start on Monday and have to have my best performance ready to roll). Saturday and Monday nights on the other hand...
  7. Awesome progress. You know the steering linkage universals are out of phase, huh?

    help me!

If it's green it's coolant, and your heater core is leaking. If it's clear it's probably rain water. What happens is the drain channels get blocked and the area by the wiper motors fills up with water until it overflows into the cabin. The first drain to check is below the battery compartment under the bonnet. It is a rubber "down-pipe" which blocks. The down pipe may have been removed at some stage and just the hole in the firewall still there. In which case it is this hole which is blocked. Rubber down pipe not necessary.

I get the feeling my head will be grateful of that come Monday morning. I'm sure Mike and I will punish our livers enough without your encouragement .
  10. Andrew used to have a sport, and so did one of my mates. Fantastic cars is all I can say.
  11. I could be down for that. Early morning flight the next day FTL though. Might pop in for a bit. What time your set start?

Cool guys. Andrew - sounds like a bit of a plan. Mike - definitely have to have a few jars and do more stuff we "shouldn't have done". Cheers Rio, let me know. Flights are booked. Will book hotel in a couple of days if I don't hear anything.
  20. Saw the white one parked up at the viaduct a couple of months ago. Didn't get a close look as I was afloat, but looked pretty cool.
  21. Great debate. Make sure it stays that way.
  22. This is what I mean. It's important to sweep it after its bedded in to prevent extra wear. Laziness.
