Wow, our wee girl's all grown up!
-
HB! How old are you now? I remember the early days of BS with the dodgy bastards counting down to you 16th! You and Shelley must be our longest-standing regular female contributors?
-
Still lovn' it. Keep it up.
-
Maybe he can post it to you.... Free postage - hah! The OP is the trader, so PM him if you want.

HB O-dawg. Enjoy getting all the attention from Katie on Valentines day. Lucky Bastard. I need to get my birthday changed.

I think that's his goal...

Unique collectable!

I kind of like the new format. Poor Glenn - been missing out - that site's been around for almost 10 years!

If it has the factory on board computer, then that can be programmed to immobilise the ignition. Also some may be fitted with alarm and/or immobiliser. I think there is the odd factory alarm for them (very rare though) and plenty of aftermarket systems. You can crank the engine by shorting the correct pins in the main engine relay box, but without having it in front of me I'm unable to tell you which ones. Won't start like this unless the ignition is on, but will crank,

Kamei German made 2 door kit, to fit E30 or E30 M3
bravo replied to KillerX's topic in TradeMe discussions
News to me. MT2 was still $1200 last I looked, and non-gen front splitters changing hands for $250. If it were for f/l it would look terrible, but the right p-fl could look tits with it. -

Thats a steal! For PFL coupe. Rocking horse sh*t would be an appropriate phrase.... I think it may be missing door pods though. E: maybe not - can't find anything on google to confirm/deny. Definitely kamei look-a-like, so presume genuine. -
I witnessed an accident from 2nd storey office window a year ago. Watched the 2 parties argue and afterward went down and spoke to the poor lady who had her car rammed (other womans fault and she had been a total bitch and refused to admit fault). Gave her my card expecting nothing more. Both insurance companies contacted me a few weeks later - woman at fault had fabricated a totally bullshit story and even drew a diagram to back it up. Hope she got done for insurance fraud too. I'm not sure how you plan to find our the name of the person from the address TarrBaby - I very much doubt they own the land (so not listed on land records), and the Landlord isn't allowed to give out their details - privacy act. Might be worth calling the landlord though in case.

I've seen some massive snapper caught from jetskis (or PWC's aka Personal Water Craft - jetski is a brand name).

Thanks Simon, oh and something else I've learnt - if you boat needs serious maintenance, think of a number for the cost of repair, and another number for the time it'll take, multiply both by 3 and you'll be close. As some of you know we have a boat-repair yard on the family property. Whenever someone books the shed or the yard for their boat, Dad and I take bets on how long they'll actually be there for. 3 times as long every time. And 3 times as much.

I know you have boating experience Chris, and some of the following might be telling Grandma to suck eggs, but for the benefit of all..... Add all the safety and fishing gear into the equation. Buy a Coastguard membership. If you need their help and you're not a member it's $280 an hour from the time they leave till the time they get back (almost half the commercial towing rate - so that's cheap!). The average "easy" job is a couple of hours. Many are 4 hours plus, some are 8 hours plus. Coastguard membership is $95 a year and you get unlimited free assistance, other freebies, and you can get a Coastguard Caltex fuel card with built-in discount on fuel. Plus you get a discount on Coastguard Boating Education courses (Day Skipper would be minimum, but I'd recommend you do Boatmaster instead if you don't have it already). Also legally you are supposed to have a VHF Marine Radio Operators Cert before operating a Marine VHF radio. The more people who get educated properly the better. Don't skimp on the safety gear. We go to many incidents where "intelligent" people have gotten themselves into all sorts of deep sh*t save for a few hundred bucks worth of gear. A few hundred bucks on top of a $7k boat is cheap. Some of those people came back in grey zip-front bags. If you want some advice on what to get PM me. It's fairly simple, but will save you heaps of grief. A boat averages 10% of its value in maintenance a year plus fuel etc. So if $7k is cheap you want to budget more than 10% a year, plus maybe it's cheap because it needs some maintenance soon. Every few years boats need major maintenance. So for 4 years you might only spend 5-6% on it, but then on the 5th year it'll cost you 30%+ More if the previous years were neglected. Where in this cycle is this boat? And I don't mean electronics, I mean hull, fittings, steering, motor, wiring, covers, trailer and so on. I looked at buying a ski boat for about $50k, but didn't as $5k a year is a lot of fuel and beers for my mates who already have them, I use the family's launch whenever I want, and if I want to drive fast I go on a CG callout or do some on-water training.

Welcome Alexandre. nice e30 - love the embossed number plate! Can you please resize your pic? It's much too large. Try for around 800x600.

You change your cars more often than Andy. Whore.

I had an Escort panel van exactly like that one (same colour) Was my first car! A mate of dads put a v8 in a Morris. Mum had a Morris 1000 van with a worked 1300 cortina motor in it when she was in her 20's. She was a nurse so she'd be sitting at the lights in her nurse uniform in this little morris van, and blokes would pull up in their kingswoods or whatever looking staunch and trying to show off to the pretty nurse and she'd school them on the green light.

Yeah, all you have to do is drive past the site of the Bain house and you've been down Every Street in Dunedin. (Lame I know) Lol Glenn re: option 964 - those germans think of everything!

Awesome - seen this sport before. The guys on that bike must have been wondering what the f**k was going on. And that Dam is huge! Maybe he's a mutant?

The Mrs was in AK recently. Spotted a members car on Tues or Wednesday exiting the northern at Tristram. Green with BS sticker on bootlid. She said she thought it was a 7.

That's too bad. The whole point of love is sharing.

whomever Edit: Probably myself if I keep this up....

That is why we should let the street racers continue to race on the streets. Who the hell wants them on the track?

She's working so I'm taking her friend (20yo single female) to a Jazz fest and then going to my mates surprise birthday party. Maybe a drunken pound when I get home?
