Apparently they did this in the states?????

A compendium is a list of various items - i.e. a small pile of sh*t. A plethora is an excess or abundance of items - i.e. too much sh*t. Therefore, when there is a pile of sh*t, but perhaps not an excess of sh*t, compendium is the word to use instead of plethora.

yep - I had a euro ford escort with the left hand blinkers, and a euro ford sierra too. all euros seem to do it this way - I have been in mercs, fiats, citroens, and they all have the lhs blinkers. they are also more likely to have the elec window switches on the centre console instead of the fron doors like mst japs, and most also have the pull out lights-on switch instead of the twist type, and also some have foot pedal to control wipers aswell.

1) I already turn off all avatars and sigs on this forum so to all you who spend ages on them, - hah I don't care, I can't see 'em. Go hard. 2) That iS lip rocks - I want one. Pity I had to scroll down through a compendium of sh*t to get to the bottom to post that. 3) Did you call yo'self a fag Emma or did you get modpwnerated? Compendium - the word to use when plethora does not apply

Don't know what the market would pay, but if I were looking for one, I'd be prepared to pay somewhere in the vicinity of 6k or so depending on cond.

I've seen them around. I think they look good where they are used in a traditionally-styled light. When used in clears or smoked lenses, they look crap, but in standard lenses I think they look good.

I'm a huge fan of silicon. When I bought my car, the mirrors were light grey and had a rough feel to them. After a couple of regular applications of silicon, they are now black as black and very shiny and smooth. Don't have to apply very often now, just whenever I feel the rubber bits could be looking better. Anyone know what would happen in a situation where heat is involved? I have tidied up my engine bay and uesd the odd bit of silicon in there, just wondering if there might be any damage caused by the extra heat in there.

... whom u feel. isn't it? A coupla mates went down to the warewhare the other day and picked up a remote control rx8 and e46. They came with swappable chromies, and we compressed the suspension with a coupla bits of copper wire, rolled the guards, and hooked up the suspension so if you knock it in and out of gear you get the hydraulics look. Took a coupla vids on my phone of them cruising on the drive sacked out, and "bouncing" with a mean soundtrack playing on the stereo so sounds like decent ICE installs, but can't figure out how to convert the video to make it watchable on a PC, and didn't take any pics. The video looks real though until you see someones foot go past. Wicked though.

Nice colour - lwer and kit would be cool. Rear looks way too high with that pre-FL rear skirt. Can't wait to see it a bit further down the track. Stilletos are one of my fav wheels on bimmers.

Saw an old corrola (like '84) in Otara pulling over a truck. Looked barely warantable - rust, bald tyres etc. I would like the cops to put out a report how much it has spent on these "undercover cars" and how effective they have been. I am not too happy about this use of taxpayer funds.

No, I caught your implicit mesasge re not getting caught carl, and I do like the timebomb ad - no blood and gore, but shocking nonetheless. I think that there are three types of drivers with demerits: 1. Bloody idiots who deserve them, and should be off the road NOW. 2. Regular idiots who deserve them, but once they get them will tone it down. These are the impatient ones who take unnecessary risks, but aren't reckless drivers per-se. 3. Inattentive idiots who are usually very safe drivers, but who sometimes get blase and don't pay enough attention and commit minor infringements, and so therefore deserve the demerits to wake them up. I am one of the third type of idiots - but aware of the fact, and so very careful. Thus currently no demerits.

Or at that price. Nice looking car though.

The Ten Commandments for Car Audio Noobs
bravo replied to *sic's topic in Audio & In Car Entertainment
Good, sound advice. Excuse the pun. :thumb: -
True, carl, but the reason you don't lose your license for just the first few demerits is because the system realises that minor infractions happen. Like the rolling through a stop sign etc. Some of the people with no demerits will be the ones that cause accidents by holding up traffic. They may not have demerits, but they drive like a nanna, and cause other drivers to become frustrated. nothing wrong with the odd demerit, something wrong with losing your license due to too many demerits.

Yeah I might try this "don't break the law" thing too. Maybe that's what I've been doing wrong! Wonder if it works??? I got a doz cokes for $1 from a vending machine in a carpark once. I kept them as a loyalty bonus. :finger:

There is a company called "Big Baller Wheels" in the states that do those cubic zirconia wheels in 20, 22, and 24 in for SUV's. f**ken mad.

Loving the clears. Always look good on dark E34's. Cool man :mosh:

It's because of the way that a rotary generates power. they produce more hp per litre of engine capacity, but there are other negatives which is why they are still not being widely used by anyone other than Mazda, and even then only in selected models. Try Google for more answers. P.S. mazda uses engine capacity as part of its engine coding 12A, 12B are 1.2L, 13A, 13B are 1.3L and so on. Edit: may I suggest no more rotary discussion in this thread - remember that my explanation was just a simple one to give Emma a rough answer to her question. No need to go further off topic with pro-rotary or anti-rotary arguments. :thumb:

Easy, just "borrow" your parents car and go for a drive past the cop shop a few times. Eventually they will pick you up and you'll get fined for driving without a license, and be forbidden to drive (stupid, I know - your not allowed to drive because you drove when your not allowed to drive???) Then you can try it.Anyway, a bit silly saying it is a shame you don't have a fine to overpay.
-
Would only work if you had an automatic deduction to pay it off. Noone at the courts or Westpac etc is going to let you overpay a fine on purpose. Too much effort to figure out exactly when to increase or stop your payment to make only a small overpay. But would be interested to see what would happen though.
